Peaceful stay

Just as advertised. We were there to check on property we had recently purchased. Will definitely keep this cottage in mind when we need to come down and see relatives and to also stay when we start building our new home.

we had a very nice time at our stay at the cottage. it's located in a nice quiet area and very peasful. loved having the dock right outback on the canal leading to the river. great being able to walk outback get on your boat . the place was in great condition and had everything needed. we would stay there again for sure.

The place was cozy, inside very clean and had what we needed. The outside landscaping could really use some work as briars were growing up through the deck. They did say that there would be bottled water and toiletries, however, there was none to be found. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching boats going in and out and it was a perfect place for Bible and coffee in the morning. The peace and quiet was what we treasured the most. We were able to bring our dog, which is why we chose this property and we would come back with him again.

Quite, comfortable, we asked for a later check out time and had no problem getting it, Izzy is a great host! we will be building in Oriental in about 14 months and will utilize this property again. Thanks again for letting us use your home!!!! Ps. Bring some dog treats, the neighbors dogs are super friendly and always greeting you when you get back home

Fishing Cottage

Highly recommended. Great communication. Added extra day and the Evolve team was super easy to work with. Quiet place. Cozy. Very fresh and clean. Amazing view of the canal where the dock is located just a few steps behind the cottage. I look forward to going back there anytime. I am so appreciative and beyond grateful for this wonderful visit.

Great little cottage that was close to our fishing spot! It was tidy and had all of the basics that we needed for a weekend getaway. We did find the bed to be a lot more firm that we are used to and struggled the get the cottage cooled to a comfortable temperature the first night. The A/C unit is located in the bathroom and can't really cool the whole cottage that well. We closed off the kitchen / living room area the second night and that helped a good bit.

Perfect!

The cottage was so peaceful and quiet! It is the perfect little vacation spot to just relax and spend time with your significant other. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, honestly! Hope someday I get to come back and visit the again! It had everything we needed to feel like a home away from home. The deck is just gorgeous! My boyfriend and i couldn't resist spending most of our time out there since we got lucky with the weather warming up! Also, I was extremely excited we got to bring our dog to be with us! Very comfortable and COZY!

Everything was ok except my spouse and myself were very disappointed with the tv not having local channels on the Hulu app. We had to drive all the way to New Bern to watch the baseball playoff games. A vacuum would have helped to clean up a bit.

All was good. We had a great time at the. Cozy Cottage. Loved the quiet little neighborhood. We were able to catch 4 puppy drum, 3 blue crabs, 3 Eels, 1 super small flounder, and a bunch of pin fish right off the dock. Only thing was could have supplied a little more laundry and dish detergent. We will rent again next year if we are back in the area.

Awesome place to stay!

Great place to stay for anyone fishing the Neuse. Izzy has thought of everything that is needed for a temporary away home. Everything was as advertised in the VRBO listing. There was even a bottle of wine! I highly recommend this vrbo for a get away weekend or week long fishing trip!
