Basic but comfortable

It's a nice hotel. Very basic. But clean! Most important. And the desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a quad room. It's a little tight, but comfortable. Some have mentioned the windows don't open much. But you can release the hooks for a bigger open. That helped alot with the air flow.

I loved my stay at City Central Örebro.

The room was clean and comfortable with a microwave, kettle and fridge. There was a ceiling fan which was good during the heat wave. The bed was super comfortable. The personnel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with cereals, eggs, bread, cold cuts and veggies. Free coffee and tea in the foyer at all times.

Very convenient for waking to restaurants and center of town sites. Unfortunately the local parking garage was being renovated so I parked at the nearby university parking lot. About 4 min. walk and 5:20pm to 9:20 am parking was under 8 USD. Ticket machine is electronic, chose language, tap credit card, enter vehicle license plate, verify plate, add time you want to park, verify time, tap card again and done. I go through this long explanation because the hotel has no parking and this should not be a huge negative. When I looked for a hotel with free parking one was on the edge of town and more expensive. Free breakfast is standard Scandinavian fare of boiled egg, breads, deli meat, cereals, yogurt …etc.

Det var en väldigt dålig upplevelse. Jag kunde inte sova alls. Rummet var kallt och det var ett högt motorljud i rummet fram till morgonen som inte lät mig sova. Det fanns inget toalettpapper. Väldigt dålig frukost med begränsade alternativ. Jag kommer aldrig att välja det här hotellet igen.

Frukosten var bra och det fanns bra utbud. Det fanns bara en sak som jag tyckte var lite synd och det var att det inte stod villa ägg som var löskokta eller hårdkokta. Jag blev tvungen att prova och det visade sig tyvärr att inget var åt det mer hårdkokta hållet. Detta resulterade ju att jag tog 2 ägg och kastade båda. Onödigt svinn som kunnat avhjälpts med en liten skylt. Annars var det sköna säng lagom stort rum. Det fanns också en parkering på innergården vilket kändes bra och tryggt istället för att parkera den på gatan. Tycker dock att det var lite dyrt 170:- för en parkering bara över natten.
