Condo was nice, enjoyed the view, easy access to the beach. Heated pool was nice on the cold nights. Needed new patio furniture. Table leg was broken.

We love the location and closeness to the shore line. Our only complaint was the lack of comfortable seating on the porch. It is difficult for older guests to climb up and get down from a tall adirondack chair.

Can't beat the convenience of the proximity to the pool and beach from this ground floor unit. While you do sacrifice a better view of the beach (you can still see the beach, just don't have an elevated view) and some privacy for easy access to the beach, we found it worth it to literally be steps away from the boardwalk down to the beach. Returning from the beach was a breeze with direct access to our patio and loved not having to wait on an elevator! The king size mattress was so comfortable, we removed the sheets to inspect what brand it was for future needs! Beachball Properties was awesome and continually checked on us during our stay and even handled extending our stay effortlessly! Some very minor critiques- the hot water is opposite in the master shower (learned that the hard way after a lukewarm shower lol). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return to this unit.

Beautiful 1st Floor Condo on the Beach

The condo was nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. The walk out lanai was super convenient to the pool and beach access. The outdoor property was very clean and well maintained. We had absolutely no complaints! Would definitely rent this unit again!

We enjoyed being able to walk out on the bottom floor and go straight to the beach or pool. Condo was clean and big enough for our family stay. The WiFi didn’t work the whole time we were there so we couldn’t watch tv unless we watched our grandchildren’s Disney dvd’s that they brought with them. But all in all it was good.

LOCATION!! LOCATION!! LOCATION!! Wow, I just can't talk enough about the convenience of this location. You were literally 50 steps from the parking lot. No elevator to wait for. 50 steps to the indoor pool/hot tub, and 5 steps to the pool. It is not as private as an upper room would be, but if you enjoy people watching and convenience, I don't know how you could ever beat this condo.

The condo was great, except I didn't think about the fact that being on the bottom floor, everyone walks by your patio heading to the pool or beach. We couldn't open our curtains to have a view because it felt like people were looking in the room, as it was only a few feet from the walkway. It was helpful for my Mother-in-law, though. She was able to get around easier not having to deal with stairs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Pelican was great. We had 6 younger kids and the warm indoor pool and hot tub were lifesavers. The outdoor pool was large and clean and too cold for the kids. The condo had been updated and it was clean and neat. In short, will stay there again!

The floors had not been mopped and it wasn’t the cleanest. We had two bathrooms and I called twice about the guest bathroom about the toilet cause it wouldn’t fill up with water in the tank and no one ever showed up to fix it. There was eight of us and if the master toilet was occupied some of us had to go find a toilet to use somewhere else. Location was great though.

Yes, we enjoyed out self. I really enjoyed the first floor. I could watch the kids in the pool and stay in my room. The beach was very nice. the only thing was the dishes in the cabinet were full of water. The kitchen was very clean. And the bed in the room with the bumps beds was squeaking and very uncomfortable. But the condo was very nice and clean, the staff was nice. Thank you so much for the stay. Will be staying again.

Overall, the stay was pleasant. However, there were some some maintenance issues that need tended to. First and foremost is the black mold that is in the guest bath around top side of the shower. Neither GFI outlets in the both baths worked. The guest bath toilet handle was not working properly. There was an empty liquor bottle shoved between the mattress and box spring of the single full size bedroom. The clothes dryer is malfunctioning, it will not shut off on it's own. The timer dial is broken. And lastly, there was a faint smell of cat urine upon arriving. We eliminated that with a quick cleaning of the condo.

Wonderful view. We loved the ground level, so convenient and easy as we traveled with our young child and grandma. Nice clean outdoor pool. Super easy check-in and condo had security on property, which we appreciated. Plenty of towels, a whole roll of toilet paper in each rest room, full roll of paper towels all supplied. However, the unit is severely lacking in cleanliness. The floors were FILTHY. They may have been swept but they have most definitely not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. We went through an entire pack of wipes just on my child’s feet for our one week stay. If you didnt keep shoes on at all times your feet would be black with filth in no time. The couch is very worn and stained. The lounge chair is very worn and we found popsicle wrappers stuck in the chair. The tv in the first guest room did not work. And crazy enough, no broom supplied for a beach condo, so there was sand everywhere.

The only decent thing about this condo was that it was on the first floor and on the beach. Well, I guess that's really two. When we walked in the door there was a strong pet urine smell. I immediately began wiping bathrooms and kitchen with Lysol wipes.This was reported to management and they offered to check it out but the odor subsided. The back sliding glass door does not work properly, the louvre doors on the laundry nook were broken, there was dust all down the side of the refrigerator. Walls had streaks of fluid ( this condo is in desparate need of a paint job). The primary bath commode seat had obviously been chipped many times and had been “patched “ with some kind of plaster. Really, why not buy a new commode seat ? They do not cost much. The condo is in much need of an update and I think the price was too much for the quality it offers. I would not rent it again.
