The condo was just as it was presented in the listing and pictures. Our stay was great and we had a great time with all the amenities. I’ve gotten spoiled and other rentals I have been able to check in by going straight to the property and punching in a key code to get in. Do to the condo using key cards it was required to check in at an office in Gulf Shores to get the keys. So that was a little inconvenient but not bad. When we got to the unit one of the batteries on the smoke alarm was dead causing a chirping sound. I called the rental company and they said I could just pull the battery out and they would put in a work order for it. I pulled the battery out but the smoke detectors were hard wired into the electrical system so removing the battery did not cause the chirping to go away. Instead of calling back to have someone fix it and listen to the constant chirping I just went to the store, bought a battery and installed a new one myself. I brought my boat down and rented a slip which was extremely convenient. This issue is more so on the Cribe itself but there are a plethora of power hook up on the boat docks which is great but it took me checking around 25 receptacles before a I found one that was working and not rusted out or broken. The only other thing I would caution is it seemed the hot water heater temperature was turned way to high and I unintentionally burnt myself a couple times just checking to see if the water was on cold or hot.Overall our stay was great!
