The condo was lovely ! Great views of the beach on all sides. The balcony had a nice variety of seating options. The unit was very clean, well appointed and the kitchen area was great! The condo very pet friendly and we hope to be back — maybe in the fall! Thanks!

Condo was just as described! Very clean and well supplied! Souther vacation rental company is the absolute best!! Communication is for anything needed etc is above and beyond always! Second time renting with them and they are great!! Only issue we had was not with them but with silver beach and as usual one elevator went down. It’s every year we are there(5th year) but this time it was back up in 24 hours which was a huge improvement!

Everything was great, only complaint that didn’t give it a 5 star was the refrigerator went out, the management staff was great about the situation, just the owner of condo took to long to replace in time for us to enjoy having a refrigerator so we had to use coolers…I would have left a lower star and bad review, but on the way home they offered a refund which wasn’t enough to cover the food that spoiled but was better than nothing…other than that the place was a good place to stay

Room 701 Silver Beach Review

The vents in the bathroom were filthy we reported the same issue last year . We told them to clean after we left. I submitted a ticket for the bulb being out under the microwave. They came and replaced it. Then we reported tissues with two bedroom TVs. They came and replaced one. But it was a good experience thank you

Views are amazing!

Absolutely love this condo! Great location! And the views made up for anything less than perfect in the condo. A few things that need updating—silverware, pots and pans and main TV (didn’t use the bedroom TV). Couldn’t get YouTube TV to load so no streaming. Cable the condo offers just well, sucks. Won’t keep us from coming back though! Unless it’s football season!!

The condo is in a great location & the views are BEAUTIFUL!!! The cleanliness could use an upgrade!! The floors were dirty my grandson’s hands & feet were black from just crawling on the floor!!! I had to clean the floors before we moved our stuff in. Then some of the utensils in the kitchen had to be rewashed. Other than those 2 issues it was AMAZING!! I LOVED the wrap around balcony.

Dreamy Views for DAAAYS!🐬❤️

My family of 5, including an 18-yr old and 2-19 yr olds, stayed over spring break last week. We have stayed at a Silver Beach property before, but this was our first time in this unit and it surpassed our expectations! The pics in the listing did not do it justice. The openness in the living area and the wrapped balcony were incredible! The unit was spacious and allowed us to be together but not TOO together lol. We saw dolphins most days and couldn’t get enough of the view💕. The couch, chair and mirror wall felt out of place, but that didn’t take anything away from our experience. Beds were comfortable & a sufficient number of towels were provided. The unit was clean upon arrival other than 2 yellow spots on the living room tile, which I cleaned up. Cons: while the kitchen was well stocked, though it would have been nice to have a cooking spoon for pasta (spaghetti spork), and some of the dishware had chips. (Plenty of dishes and silverware though, which was great!) No keurig but a traditional coffee pot was provided. The stove/oven took a while to heat up. Both still worked but pre-heating took a while, as did boiling a pot The footrest to the chair had a stain down the middle. 1 of the 2 elevators was under construction so only having 1 accessible wasn’t ideal. Last time we stayed at this property, each elevator was down at some point. Obviously nothing in the condo owner’s control. Overall we had a great time & loved staying in this unit! Highly recommend!

Worst Vacation Experience

First the elevators weren’t working- at all- I have double knee replacements- we were on the 7th floor. Then the door would work and we couldn’t get in. I was told someone would come by that night- no one did- 2 full days and nights of an unsecure front door - and staying in the unit while my family went to the beach. When I asked for a refund- I was told I was out of luck - I will never stay with this company again and hate this was the worst vacation experience ever

Too expensive for current condition of property

Upon arrival the property appears to be well maintained. The elevators are outdated, slow and clunky. A family got stuck in one of the elevators during our stay which resulted in the property only having one functioning elevator that was one or two trips away from getting stuck. The access code provided to me in the email from southern rentals was the wrong code for the door. Once I received the correct code the deadbolt didn’t recede completely into the door, which made it difficult to open the door. The light switch in the living room and the light switch in one of the bedrooms were opposite of each other. When id turn the light on in the living room the light in the bedroom would go off and vice-versa. The toaster oven in the kitchen didn’t work. The pool was down for maintenance for 1.5 days of our trip. We were notified via text that the pool was down before our trip. I contacted southern rentals twice to inquire about a discounted rate or some type of compensation for the advertised amenity being out of order. The first time they told me they would talk to their manager and get back to me (they never did), the second time I was told we would be compensated at the end of our stay. We have yet to be contacted by anyone. The property’s current condition did not match the expensive cost of our stay.

But for being locked out...

Locked out on arrival and no response from property manager during our entire stay almost put a damper on fun in the sun:( But for Kevin Howard the on-site property supervisor we would still be awaiting entry:) Thanks Kevin! Other than this...we had a blast...nice clean corner unit with spacious balconies offering unbelievable views. We loved the layout of the unit which felt much larger than 1100 sqft. Adequate parking, puppy friendly except not welcomed on beach, beautiful beach & friendly people within walking distance of markets, shopping & restaurants.

Nice but…

The floors weren’t cleaned. Bottom of our feet were always black and dirty. I washed them myself but it didn’t help. Coffee pot worked only half the time. Need to invest in a better coffee pot. Condo was nice and great beach and convenience location.

Perfect for 5 adults, incredible view.

First impression was how clean everything was. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were very comfortable and the view from the wrap-around balcony was incredible. We all enjoyed our stay and each of us stated they would like to stay at this same unit again.

Summer Vacay

We loved the condo overall. Floors were very sandy upon our arrival. View and balcony amazing. Sliding glass doors are difficult to slide and very noisy. Dryer is not hot and is very noisy, doesn't dry clothes.
