Everything was lovely and the staff were great. I had a free day and asked what I could do nearby. I ended up having a lovely morning with Audry (member of staff) who cycled with me (hotel bicycle) to a nearby archaeological site where we had a walk around. Extra thanks to Audry for talking in English and making my stay special.
The view from this property is absolutely gorgeous, and the people are really friendly, will definitely be back

This was a beautiful place to stay. We loved our bungalow and the setting. The only negative is that it is so remote and hard to get anywhere. It would be so helpful if there was some shuttle service available into town.
Beautiful, peaceful, nice place to stay. Friendly staff. We really enjoyed it. We visited Machu Pichu
And areas around the Sacred Valley. Highly recommend this place if you have transportation or can arrange it. The hotel might be able to help with that. We rented a car.
The hotel was very quiet during our stay and the restaurant was very average. However, the room was comfortable and the staff were all extremely helpful. It’s a shame that the hotel wasn’t a bit busier. AA little bit far from Ollantaytambo.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and the staff were very helpful. However, the hotel was extremely quiet and lacked some atmosphere.
This hotel was absolutely incredible!! The location is quiet and remote and so peaceful. The staff gets to know you right away and is so accommodating. Love, love and can’t wait to return
Del Pillar is a beautiful hotel. The staff is friendly, the amenities (game room, indoor/outdoor seating) are nice and the food was very good. The only complaint is how far from town the property was. The rooms were nice and the grounds were lovely, but it felt so far away that you didn’t want to stay there for very long.
Del Pilar... AMAZING property surrounded by mountains (some snow-capped)! Although this hotel is about 15-20 minutes outside of Ollantaytambo, it's definitely worth staying outside of town with the great restaurant, super-friendly staff and beautiful, clean rooms. I would highly suggest staying in the 2-bedroom condos, which are really awesome!
Wonderful spot to sit and watch the world - trains going by on the way to Machu Picchu, farmers plowing, tourists headed for the Inca trail - all in an amazingly beautiful setting.
The hotel runs perfectly. Breakfast is ready early and made to order. The restaurant is excellent for lunch and dinner. The internet is fast enough. The water is hot. The rooms are spotless. The facility is nearly new and in great condition. Taxis are easy to call. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We stayed for a week and could not have enjoyed our time more.
Amazing hotel out of the way. Amenities will cater to any desire. Spacious rooms with heaters. Great game room with pool table, games. We used mountain bikes to explore surroundings. Really good food on a restaurant from local fresh produce. I don’t know if I will eat avocado back home after tasting locally grown. Little bit out of the way, however you get amazing view of mount Veronica. Enjoy it like we did!
The most friendly staff you’ll find anywhere. Seriously lovely place. It is out of the way but they organised taxis for us while we were there (including a very good value pick up at the airport & drop off in cusco ).
The driver was very safe and happily stopped to let us take photos of some amazing vistas.
Only downside was the food in the evenings. The soups were great (and to be honest filling enough to have done for dinner) but the mains were disappointing (especially the lasagnes, don’t order the lasagnes!) boyfriend ordered the alpaca which was fantastic, so maybe order local? Waiting staff and bar staff are very nice and there’s a big fire to drink your drinks beside.
Room and bathroom were very clean and very comfy. Would go back if we’re in the area again
This hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly and courteous, and they go beyond to help accommodate you. It's a little bit far out of town, but it was a nice retreat!
The food was delicious. The staff were kind and accommodating. The hotel amenities, room conditions and cleanliness far exceed its star rating. A must visit for a peaceful trip.
Great great experience very comfortable, clean and courteous stafff
They made special boxed breakfast for us early morning when we had to catch train to Machu pichu
Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, amazing views, great food. Hotel was practically empty. It was 10k outside of town and most cab drivers couldn't find it. The shuttle service was expensive. If you want to stay here rent a car, but beware the 5 kilometer private road into hotel is extremely rough with 2 log bridges and narrow passes. My recommendation to hotel is spend 20,000 and pave the road, then advertise where you are. Having a good road would make a huge difference.
Beautiful setting, Andean hacienda like setting. Absolutely immaculate, tastefully decorated. The staff is a credit to the hotel. One point to consider that it is very remote and there is nothing nearby to walk to. Access road is in process of being repaired which will be a bonus.
