Worst ever – filthy on arrival with health concerns:This is the first negative review I have ever written after many years of renting on VRBO. We arrived late after a long day of travel. What we found upon check-in was disgusting, unprepared, and raised real health concerns:No clean sheets or towels; not enough sheets for all bedsNo paper towels; toilet paper nearly goneEvery trash can overflowing – with a box of TheraFlu prominently on top, making us worry about possible recent illnessToothpaste smeared in sinks and a dirty toilet seatBroken lamp in MBR.Majority of dishes in the dishwasher (we assumed dirty and never used them)Because of the TheraFlu box and general filth, we disinfected surfaces while waiting for linens to dry after we had to DoorDash laundry detergent at midnight and wash sheets ourselves just to have usable beds. We didn’t get to sleep until 3am. Timestamped photos (first one taken 4 minutes after arrival) and Uber records confirm this was exactly how the property was turned over to us.Most upsetting was the host’s response: instead of acknowledging the problems or apologizing, he accused us of fabricating everything, even after we provided clear, dated evidence.Claiming the property was in order after we provided documented, serious problems was infuriating.Future travelers deserve fair warning: this property arrives unclean with potential health concerns chose somewhere else.
