About this property

Cozy 1-Bedroom Cottage: Beachside Charm Steps from Dining & Shopping!

Welcome to this charming 1-bedroom, 1-bath cottage that beautifully blends classic coastal charm with modern comfort. Tucked away on a picturesque side street in the heart of downtown, you’ll be just steps from Ogunquit’s top shops and restaurants. The beautiful beach is about a 7-minute walk away, and the scenic Marginal Way is only a quick 2-minute stroll. Please note: This is the lower-level unit of a two-unit home. While fully separate with a private entrance, you can expect to hear footsteps, movement, and general noise from the upstairs unit. This cottage offers a great home base for enjoying one of Maine’s most charming seaside towns!

Inside, you`ll find a cozy, light-filled space with classic New England style and views of blooming hydrangeas outside the windows. Thoughtfully updated and perfectly sized for two, this inviting cottage features a fully equipped kitchen that is compact yet functional. The living area includes a cozy two-seater sofa and a TV on a swivel mount for easy viewing. In the bedroom, you’ll find a comfortable queen-sized, low-profile platform bed. The room is equipped with luxe linens, a new mattress, and storage space. The bathroom features a spacious walk-in tile shower.

Please note before booking: This cottage is the lower-level unit of a two-unit home. While the spaces are completely separate and each has its own private entrance, you should expect to hear footsteps, movement, and general household noise from the upstairs unit during your stay. If you are particularly sensitive to noise or looking for a completely quiet or detached accommodation, this may not be the best fit for you. Also, the ceilings are slightly lower than average, adding to the cozy charm of this classic cottage, but may not be ideal for taller guests.

For added convenience, the cottage offers one dedicated parking space along with a small outdoor area featuring two Adirondack chairs. With its bright, cozy charm and prime downtown location, our Ogunquit beach cottage is a wonderful retreat for a couple’s getaway.

The property was just as described, and so convenient being walking distance from town and the beaches and the Marginal Way. Having a parking spot was so helpful and easy. The trolley was an easy way to get down to Perkins Cove, since parking was minimal there. So close to Kennebunkport and Portsmouth (NH), and the outlets. Be sure to get to Scoop Deck up in Wells for ice cream and wake up early at least once to catch the sunrise. We had an awesome week!

Cute place in a great location!

The property manager was great and had great communication. The location of the unit was very good, about 8 minute walk to the marginal way and the main ogunquit strip. Beach was a 15 minute walk down the walking path across the bridge.Only downside was the ceiling height. Ceilings were only about 6.5 ft. If you are over 6ft (like my husband) the space can definitely feel cramped and required some ducking through doorways. Cute space for 1 or 2 people if you don’t mind a tiny/cozy space.
