The condition of this room gives Motel 6 a bad reputation. I’ve stayed in plenty of Motel 6 rooms that were simple but clean and comfortable. This room was very dirty with filth on the walls, dirty toilet and shower and dilapidated furniture. I would not recommend staying here

The conditions were so poor that I refused to submit myself or my family to such conditions and moved to another motel. I wish that I had taken pictures to show you.

I’ve stayed at several Motel 6 locations recently and was impressed with how much they’ve cleaned them up—unfortunately, this location fell far below that standard. Right away, the place felt sketchy and poorly maintained. The parking lot had extremely tight spaces, and there were some questionable tenants hanging around, which didn’t make for a comfortable first impression. Inside the hotel, things went downhill fast. There was vomit in the hallway that wasn’t cleaned up promptly—completely unacceptable from a cleanliness and safety standpoint. The room itself was in poor condition. The desk area was damaged, with visible wear and splitting wood. The TV didn’t work at all, and there were no basic toiletries like shampoo or conditioner. To make matters worse, the sheets appeared stained on closer inspection, making it difficult to feel clean or relaxed. This location gives Motel 6 a bad name. I’ve had much better stays at other renovated locations, but this one needs serious attention. I would not return and would strongly suggest others choose a different place to stay.

The property seemed kind of sketchy, but the town of Ogden is beautiful. The staff seemed very disinterested, but there was one young man who helped me by printing some work documents for me.

We checked in pretty easily. As soon as we walked into the room there was a terrible funky smell (we went and bought air freshener.) There was no hair dryer in bathroom, no coffee pot. Housekeeping didnt do our room until Wednesdays and we had to ask them to do it. We had already been there 4 days. It was nice it being dog friendly but their waste bag station had a bees nest inside. Told them 3 times about it and nothing ever got done about it. Also had bees swarming the pool. Room keys were constantly deactivating. Had only 1 outlet behind the room phone and it barely worked.
