Paying extra for poolside was a scam. It was advertised as 1st floor, but it isn't. There are no poolside units. It was an average unit, with a horrible musty odor. The staff were polite and helpful to the area.

Room was spacious and clean, however there were several black hairs on our bathroom vanity, the pillow case and under the comforter on the top sheets. Roger the manager was quick to send housekeeping for a sheet change. The housekeeper came but was very offended evidently that we had complained about the hairs in the bed and bathroom. She had a very angry, bad attitude the few minutes she was in our room changing the sheets. I thanked her several times for changing the sheets, but she was having none of it. Even though I showed her all the black hairs in the bed, she kept brushing me off, shaking her head and saying I know these sheets are clean, I washed them myself. I tried to tell her Im sure she had but somewhere, somehow lots of black hairs got on them and I didnt want to sleep in them. Unfortunate way to start our time there. Roger the manager was very apologetic. The restaurant next door was superb, service, attitudes and food.

The room was large and had a surprising dining table. But the AC didn’t work. We had to open all the windows and blinds to get a breeze. Enjoyed the room as a whole but we slept very little since it was almost 90 during the day and 80 at night. The pool was nice and not crowded.

The place was very clean and all the staff we encountered were very nice. The people above us had a dog that barked a lot and woke us up early and often . We would definitely stay again but would ask to change roooms next time.
