Beautiful second-floor suite in a complex of 7 apartments spread over 3 floors. It features all amenities and is ideal for 1 or 2 people. Prime location just 6 blocks from the Santo Domingo Temple, on the edge of the historic district and close to all the restaurants, galleries, and museums.

LOCATION:
The complex is quiet; it’s located at the back of a property on a side street in the city center, so there’s very little car traffic, which ensures minimal outside noise.
The complex is an 8-minute walk from the historic center, where the main attractions are located.
The complex is on a sloped, cobblestone street.

The terrace is for the private use of one of the apartments; we ask that you respect that space. The common areas on the first floor are for everyone’s use. Your suite has a balcony where you can sit and read or relax without any issues.

The complex is located in a fairly private area, yet you’re just a few minutes’ walk from all the points of interest in the historic center.

SECURITY:
Our properties have a night security guard who can assist our guests with whatever they need. If a neighbor is making too much noise, you can message us, and we’ll send the security guard right away to ensure the rules are followed.

PARKING:
This is a difficult area to park in; it’s an alley with few parking spots and many garages. there is a 24-hour public parking lot 5 blocks away that offers a special rate for our guests; however, it’s important to note that the service provided by them is independent of ours.

REGARDING NOISE:
Oaxaca’s historic center is a multicultural place, full of traditions and delicious food; an essential part of our customs includes folklore and music, which can often cause unexpected noise during celebrations. In addition, some neighbors have dogs as guard animals and some farm animals, such as roosters.

This may disturb your sleep; with this in mind, we’ve made sure to include earplugs in the first-aid kit for you to use if needed.

CLIMATE CHANGE:
Dear guest, when confirming your reservation, please check the weather forecast for our city during the dates you plan to visit, so you can get an idea of the current temperature and whether you should expect rain or other weather events. This will help make your stay more enjoyable. Remember that, as mentioned above, we only have air conditioning in the bedrooms, not in the common areas.

Guest Policies

I. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THE RULES

These guest rules will be in effect from May 2025 through May 2026, during which time the guest expressly and tacitly acknowledges, upon making a reservation, that they accept and are fully aware of these rules, and that they agree to and comply with all the provisions set forth herein; it is the guest’s obligation to read these rules and act in accordance with them.

II. PAYMENT FOR ACCOMMODATIONS

A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of at least 20% of the total amount for accommodations, including taxes. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay; if the remaining balance is not received, the reservation will be immediately canceled, releasing AALOJAT from any liability to the guest, The minimum 20% required as a deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE after the dates specified in the policies.

III. CHECK-IN

Check-in time for the room is from 3:00 p.m. onward, and check-out time must be no later than 11:00 a.m. Management reserves the right to grant an early check-in if the room becomes available earlier, as well as to grant a late check-out if availability exists for the desired date; however, there is no obligation to grant these benefits even if the guest requests them.

IV. PROPERTY CARE

We recommend that you review the room inventory upon arrival, as it will be inspected, and in the event of any missing items or damage, the guest will be responsible for covering the cost, which will be charged in Mexican pesos to replace or repair the item.

V. USE OF UTILITIES

Utilities (water, electricity, gas, etc.) provided by the owners must be used in good faith; the price does not include wasteful or excessive use of these services, as this helps us keep rates affordable and protect the environment; All guests are required to close windows, entry doors, and water valves and to turn off lights and air conditioners when leaving the room.

VI. PROPERTY CLEANING

The company’s properties include different services, amenities, locations, and designs. Not all properties include cleaning services; however, you can confirm whether or not this applies to your stay in the manual sent to you for check-in. In that document, you can see if cleaning is included or if there is a fee. If cleaning is included, you must request it in advance, and it will be performed between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the latest. Guests may opt for daily cleaning or accept the hosts’ suggestion. We recommend making the request well in advance, as it is subject to availability. Guests who do not make their rooms available during those hours will not receive cleaning services. Linens, such as towels and bed sheets, will be replaced after a 7-day stay, at which time the room will also be cleaned. If you require them before this date, there will be an additional charge. Stains on sheets that can be easily removed will incur an additional charge of MXN $50.00 per item. (Face towels are excluded.) Linen items that cannot be stain-removed (due to hair dye, paint, rust, sauce, permanent markers, etc.) will be charged at the cost of a new item in Mexican pesos; we will inform you of the amount if this occurs. (See the attached table).




VII. SECURITY MEASURES WITHIN THE ROOM

Any item or cash valued at more than $ $250.00 must be reported to management before the start of the stay, so that their existence can be verified and a record made that they will be in the room. Guests must store their valuables in the safety deposit boxes located on the properties. Management is not responsible for the loss or misplacement of items or cash left in guest rooms or in the public areas of the properties that have not been registered.

VIII. LOST AND FOUND ITEMS

Items or valuables left behind by a guest in any of our properties’ facilities will be held by management for up to fifteen days; after which they will be disposed of as lost and found items. If a guest wishes to retrieve them, the shipping costs will be the guest’s responsibility, and the guest agrees to pay an additional 25% to cover the time spent by our employees on this additional task.

IX. QUIET AND RESPECT FOR OTHER GUESTS AND HOTEL STAFF

Starting at 9:00 p.m., noise levels must be kept to a minimum in all rooms and units. Please also respect the nighttime quiet hours in the hallways, stairwells, and common areas, avoiding any behavior that may disturb other guests at the resort, including loud music and loud conversations. Parties are prohibited unless the entire resort is rented out. In the event of a violation of the preceding provision, if the guest has been asked to end the party or gathering and refuses to do so, management is authorized to terminate the stay immediately without any possibility of a refund. If we are unable to contact the guest, a fine of $1,500.00 MXN will be imposed, which must be paid in cash before the day of departure. Otherwise, a payment request will be submitted through the app.

X. DAMAGE, DIRTY ROOMS, LOST KEYS

In the event of damage to the property or its furnishings, as well as the loss of keys, the person responsible must pay for the damage caused. (Cost per lost key: $20). Payments of this type must be made immediately in cash, by credit card, or via a payment link (the person who made the reservation is responsible for these payments). Theft or intentional damage will be reported immediately to the police, and management is authorized to terminate the stay at that time with no possibility of a refund. It is prohibited to engage in any act that causes damage or harm to the property or to other guests, or to engage in conduct contrary to decency or social norms.
