My husband and I stayed here for 4 days, 3 nights which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the home. I always do my best to give an honest and fair review so want to give the good and the not-so-good. Starting with the good, the house was super clean, super spacious and obviously gorgeous views from the wrap around patio. There was also heaters in every room, even the bathroom itself which was lovely in the chill of November. The master bed was comfortable and cozy, all of which are important to us when booking homes. We enjoyed the stay but definitely think there are some minor things that could be improved on (none of which should deter you from booking). A big reason we booked this place was because of the hot tub but sadly we were unable to use it. There were several black widows surrounding the stairs going into the tub and all around the base. Totally understand we are in the woods and spiders live there but it was clear no one had come to clear the webs out prior to arrival. Bit of a bummer for sure. The bathroom was large but the shower itself is pretty tight and has a strange, sort of painful shower head. I’m 5 foot and my husband is 6’4’’ and we both felt cramped. Good water pressure but feels like that could be replaced to have a better spray. Additionally, we did notice what appeared to be mold on the walls of the shower above our heads. Overall, this was a great budget friendly option for our last minute trip to Yosemite (1-1.5 hours to valley floor).
