Really disappointed with the cleanliness of the property and the communication with the rental company (Salt & Sand Realty) that oversees the property. First, they sent us an email without the checkin code and didn't send for hours after I called to request it. At the house, I had some serious cleanliness concerns: there was a dead bug on one bed, a giant mysterious stain on another bed, the house does not have central AC so I went to turn on the bedroom fan but the fans in both rooms were covered in 1/2 inch thick dust that would have fumigated us had we turned them on. I found a hair beneath the fitted sheet in my bed AND a panty liner wrapper beneath the bed that we did not leave. I've contacted the host and realty company via email and phone over the course of a week but no response. Sliding door to the deck is broken -- when you try to open it, it literally tips out of the frame and you're on the brink of breaking it, so it's very inconvenient to get out to the deck.
