This home was so well stocked. The owners literally thought of everything. I was amazed at all the detail they have put into ensuring this could truly serve as a home away from home. The home is perfect for anyone traveling with dogs. It was decorated beautifully, as well.

This was the first time we stayed at a home at the beach and brought one an extra dog besides service dog. This home met all expectations and more! It was so clean ! The dishes didn’t have not a spot on them ! There was menus in the drawer, dog blankets, towels , bowels ( if needed) , etc .The host thought of everything! We even loved the board games! Not to mention the beach amenities such as umbrella and chairs! I didn’t have to sit on hot sand! This was a perfect vacation and we will be booking this home again! My teens even had a great time and that’s an accomplishment in its self. We loved the backyard. Only thing I would say to possibly do a little bit better is the lighting in backyard. But other than that this was a dream vacation! A dream house that we most certainly didn’t want to leave , that our kids was begging to stay longer but it was booked already;) Thank so much for wonderful memories! Memories with kiddos and possibly last beach trip with service dog , due to kidney failure. But it was great having a backyard for them to roam and play !!!! Thanks again !!!! We also loved having an extra space to lounge in the sunroom. My husband and and I would go there for some quiet time. The shower in the master bathroom is wonderful, so wonderful my teen son would use it almost every night. He loved the spacious room and the sprayers. The outside shower is wonderful, to keep the sand at bay , & washing the dogs outside.So convenient! Ice cream homemade down road great!

Perfect for a long weekend

We were very pleased with our long weekend stay at this Oak Island property. The accommodations were very nice for everyone including our senior pup! Loved that there were only a few steps to navigate. The house was in a quiet and safe neighborhood and we were just an easy golf-cart ride away from the beach. The host was easy to communicate with and the house is lovely. We would definitely stay here again!

This property was so nice and so clean. It is a great home to take your 4 legged friends. Our pups loved the outdoor space and porch. There is so much space that everyone could spread out and have some quiet time if needed. It comes equipped with everything you need for a vacation. Thanks for letting us stay!

Great Place!

We had a fantastic week at this pet-friendly beach home! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the space was thoughtfully prepared with both guests and their pets in mind. The home was spotless — super clean with no extra clutter lying around for curious pups to get into, which made it stress-free for us as dog owners.Everything we needed was provided, including plenty of extra towels and supplies specifically for the dogs, which was a really thoughtful touch. It was so nice not having to overpack or worry about forgetting anything.The check-out process was refreshingly simple and not at all burdensome, which made our departure smooth and easy. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations and we’d absolutely love to stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone traveling with dogs!

Great house!

The house was great! Beautiful updates and very well stocked. Owners have gone to great lengths to label things in the kitchen and make sure you have all you need! The front four season room is such a nice addition. Communication with Jeremy was very easy and he always responded very quickly. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay

Nothing bad at all to say. The owners have thought of everything. From the dog bowls to the little toiletries, every t was crossed and every i was dotted. My family, the kids, and the dogs had a great time. We come to Oak Island every year and we’ll definitely stay here each time going forward. Also side note, the place was spotless. Not sure who cleans the home, I think the housecleaning envelope said “Meghan”, but they do an amazing job!

Excellent home away from home

This is a very well maintained and beautiful home Very large kitchen and dining areas. We prepared our meals there and had everything we needed to cook. Located conveniently for beach trips, shopping, and grocery stores.

Great Oak Island Location for Family and Dog

This location was perfectly set on a quiet street where our kids could ride bikes. We're just five minutes from our favorite beach location. The home had more than what we needed! We had our Shitzu with us, and this owner thought of everything possible to accommodate the dog and had a fenced in backyard, which was wonderful. Another thing... the decorations added the beach vibe we like.

Best Pet Friendly Home

This was the most pet friendly home we have ever seen! House was very clean. Well stocked kitchen! Nice fenced backyard for our dogs! They loved the dog fountain! First time staying on the wooded side of OKI and will definitely be back!

Perfect family/dog friendly rental!

We could not love this house more! Great size for our family and 2 large dogs. We spent lots of time in the sunroom with the windows open and backyard. Would highly recommend this rental and we can’t wait to stay here again!

TIme Away!

We have stayed here before, it truly is a magical retreat! We loved the sunroom early in the morning and the back patio in the evening. The pups loved it too! The hosts are fantastic folks too. Highly recommend!

A great set up for us and our black lab Bo. The owners truly thought of everything for your furry family member including dog blankets, bowls and towels. Owners kindly allowed us to check in an hour or so early which was much appreciated. Recommend!

Perfect for humans and dogs

Everything was perfect at this property. My dogs were welcomed as much as myself. Most everything was provided including crates. All of the decorations were perfect. The yard provided a peaceful private area and easy access from the sunroom. Very pleased with everything and definitely would book again 😊

Relaxing stay with everything you need!

So nice to find a dog friendly rental with a beautiful fenced in yard. This is our 2nd stay and just as clean and comfortable as the first stay. Quiet location, and convenient to everything. Everything you need in the kitchen. I love to sit at the big island to work. We love this place so much we wanted to buy it! Lol! Owners are nice and responsive despite not selling to us. Super dog and human vacation!

Wonderful house and fenced-in yard. The front enclosed patio is a great place to hang out and relax. Everything in this house is new and clean and so well done. Kitchen is well stocked and we appreciated the starter stuff and the snacks! Everything is here for dogs, bowls, crates, beds, raised beds, dog towels, water bowl mat. We always bring all that so next time we won't have to bring as much! Furniture is comfortable throughout the house. We loved sitting at the big island. The dogs loved the backyard and it was easy to get them in and out of the house. Another bonus was a poop patrol station : ). We didn't need the outdoor shower or beach stuff due to it being cold in January, but nice to know it's available for a warmer month visit. Easy checkout instructions. We will definitely be back!
