Excellent location! The house itself needs a lot of work. We enjoyed our stay and got value for the price, but I probably would’ve stayed elsewhere if I could.The location of this home is better than most. It is right on the beach with its own access. Very convenient! I called upon arrival with a question and they answered straight away. I really appreciated the assistance.The home has two floors that function like separate units. Each has its own lock with separate codes. However, we were only provided with one of the two and had to call to get into the other one.The home was clean and the air was cool when we walked in. Unfortunately, there were several issues. The entire house has a musty smell that is strongest downstairs. It was a strong odor and hard to ignore. We encountered a cockroach in the kitchen that fled under the dishwasher. One of the bathroom sinks would not drain and the showers looked like they had seen better days. The lights would flicker every time the AC came on. None of the bathrooms had any toilet paper, but a couple rolls were left inside a kitchen “goodie bag.” The AC unit produced a loud sound audible from inside the house and caused several rooms to all noticeably vibrate and shake. The deck is small, very wobbly, and didn’t feel safe to stand on.This is a great home for friends to meet up and go to the beach. However, the home is old (built in the 60s) and could really use sprucing up. The home definitely has charm but it needs attention.
