Stayed here for one night after climbing Adam’s Peak and it was perfect for the rest and sleep that was needed. The property was clean, including the room which had a big, comfy bed and hot water. No ac needed as it got chilly in the evening, there was a warm duvet. Staff were extremely nice and friendly, making sure we were well attended do. Food was excellent - we asked to meet with the chef so we could thank him personally as it was that good. All food was cooked fresh. We left early the next day and they provided us with a packed breakfast to take with us.

The picture is very misleading. After paying twice the advertised price for one additional bed we were placed in a ground floor room next to the check in desk and public dining area. It was a noisy location with the staff being the principle authors of the chatter which kept us up. There is absolutely no grounds or public spaces and the view is nothing. Finally, getting there is a real distance, very out of the way, and it is basically part of a construction site where many new buildings are going up. Getting to the actual property was time consuming as our driver had to wait for large trucks hauling dirt and other things to the building beng constructed.

We’ve had a great time at Misthill Rest. The host is really nice and gave us great tips for transportation. The breakfast was very good. The house itself is newly built and very comfortable. We would come back to this accommodation!

Piccolo hotel molto tranquillo, un po' fuori dal centro di Nuwara Eliya, in una splendida posizione panoramica. Camera accogliente e molto ben arredata. Personale gentilissimo. Das Hotel ist ganz neu und liegt etwas außerhalb von Nuwara Eliya. Zimmer und Bad waren groß. Alles nagelneu. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Decken warm und kuschelig. Wir wurden mit Tee und Ingwerkeksen empfangen. Das Essen war sehr gut, das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
