Reached out to host with information regarding issues with the microwave and stove but no response was given.Had to wash sheets and towels prior to using because they all smelled mildewy and gross. Great location in relation to the beach and there was extra chairs and items for beach use!

DO NOT STAY HERE. IT JUST GETS WORSE.Day 1:The countertops were sticky, the couch was damp, there were no blinds in the master bedroom (only a broken, sheer curtain) and the blinds in the other bedroom would not go down. We also were not provided with parking passes.Day 3: the power was cut off in the middle of our vacation. After no response from the owner, we contacted a power company in Cherry Grove, which verified the power had been cut due to lack of payment. We also heard that a notice had been placed on the door by authorities the week before our stay stating that no one was permitted to be on the property. That notice had been removed before we arrived, so we were not aware of the issue when we checked in.When the power was cut off, the owner was nonresponsive and eventually blocked us. Because we could no longer stay in the unit, we had to move in the middle of our vacation.We booked this property expecting a normal vacation rental and were extremely disappointed to discover these issues after arriving. The condition of the unit, lack of basic items like parking passes, loss of power during our stay, and the owner's lack of communication made this a very stressful experience.We love Finestere itself, but unfortunately this particular unit and our experience with the owner were completely different from what we expected.
