We loved our stay

Great spot for exploring the Lake Champlain islands. Check in and out super easy. Very clean and comfortable. If we are back in the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here!

Great for Fishing Trip

The Loft was the perfect place to stay for our five day fishing trip. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space to park three trucks and boats. And the location is great as it’s only a few minutes from the Kings Bay boat ramp.

Perfect peaceful getaway

The loft is adorable and cozy. Very close to North Hero State park and owners had bikes for our use. They are so helpful, accessible and friendly. If you are looking for a quiet place surrounded by nature- look no further!

The loft was nicely decorated, the hosts were pleasant, easy to communicate with and the location was nice. The only negative was we thought it should have been cleaner. The hosts son was getting married that week and perhaps they were a bit distracted.

Cozy & Convenient for exploring

We loved this location as a base to explore the Champlain Islands. We walked our dog everyday to the state park and later launched our canoe from on beautiful Lake Champlain. We found groceries & fun shops nearby and went to a lively pier grill for dining & a winery for wine tasting. Both had live music. This neighborhood loft apartment was perfect for us.

North Hero Loft

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the loft. It had everything we needed and was clean. There was beautiful of views Lake Champlain from the upper deck and also an umbrella and chairs in the front yard where you can enjoy meals. North Hero park is right down the street where we enjoyed kayaking and floating in tubes basking in the sun. I would bring a folded beach chair as it is a little rocky. The owners were away when we were there but got to know them as we were leaving and they were very nice. The property is well maintained and we hope to be back in the near future.

Dog Friendly Adventuring!

My husband and I had so much fun touring around the islands and Burlington with our four legged friend. The Loft provided an easy home base to our biking and hiking adventures. Everywhere was dog friendly! The hosts were welcoming and so easy going. We enjoyed chatting with them and hearing the history of the Loft, but also appreciated the privacy they provided. Check in and out was easy as could be. Thanks for a fun weekend!

We had a great stay at the loft. It was clean and comfortable, and is located in a beautiful area. We had so much fun exploring the islands and learning some history. Great hosts made sure we had everything we needed, recommended the perfect beach for us and shared some delicious veggies from the garden that really made our meal. Super cute loft, very clean! Hosts were great, very responsive! Loved this area of the islands, so pretty and relaxing. Loved coming back from our days exploring and on the beach, to the fire pit. Highly recommend stay here. Perfect for kids too!

Fishing Weekend

This was our second time staying at The Loft and it was perfect again! Clean, comfortable, and plenty of room for truck/boat parking with electrical hookups for battery charging. And it’s only 5 minutes from the Kings Bay Boat Ramp so it’s an ideal spot if you plan to do any boating or fishing. 5-Stars all around!

A perfect long weekend escape

We had a fantastic time at North Hero Island. We spent 3 days and night. The accommodations were charming and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We brought out boat. There was a public (and free) boat launch less than a mile from the property. Lake Champlain was as smooth as glass and we enjoyed seeing North Hero from both perspectives. And we brought our dog and she was living her best life. Laurie and Buzz were so friendly and interesting. We plan to return to Lakeview Loft next summer.
