Not all that glitters is gold
The place was spacious and well located with a lot to do close by. Our first impression was good and we were excited about our stay. However, the feel good vibes didn’t last long. To start with, the photos and description show a hot tub and a foosball table. The hot tub doesn’t work and the foosball table has players missing heads and are loosely connected making the table inoperable. The surround sound speakers aren’t even hooked up or a receiver present. The “cleaning crew” is a joke. My son broke out in allergic reactions to the amount of animal hair present on the floors and furniture. We tried to reach out to guest services who sent a message to the owner. We reached out to the owner who sent us to guest services. Nothing ever came of it. Nothing was fixed. No action was taken. The home has not been upkept well and despite the dehumidifier in the basement the faint smell of mildew (or mold??) lingers and old water damage can be seen throughout. At night, the curtains offer little more than decoration as anyone can see in that wants to. The “house rules” dictate that guests must wash their own towels and dishes before leaving. However, when we arrived we had to empty the dishwasher (and rewash the dirty dishes present) and the linens from the dryer. Their cleaning services really are a joke. So if you would like to clean on your vacation instead of enjoying your broken hot tub and other entertainment options then this is the spot for you! As for me and mine, we will pass!
