On check in, our room key failed 3 times. Staff said there were issues but repeatedly told myself and co-workers that it was fixed when it was not. I asked for another room on a floor that had less key card security and they failed to register me in the room. I slept in it and then couldnt get back in - if they had given away my room during the day, over 5000 worth of electronics and work equipment would have been compromised. The manager tried to help by giving us access to the lounge, but that key failed multiple times. The entire lobby was about 30 degrees cooler than normal, including the restaurant and the bar. Despite the restaurant being half full - it took 20 minutes to get water, 30 minutes to get a drink and our food was served lukewarm at best. Multiple grilled cheeses at a big table were served cold. The room keys continued to fail throughout the weekend. The manager did his best to be helpful but the women at the front desk were incredibly impatient and uncaring. For 750+ dollars for a stay Ive never seen a hotel fail so categorically at being able to provide people a warm and safe environment.
