Pros: The staff was great.
Cons: Have someone check the room before the guests enter.
The door latch on the slider out to balcony was broken, the safe had to be replaced, the toilet would not flush, and there was no shower curtain up. This was all within 10 min. of entering our room. On the good side maintenance was there within 10 min. The room should have been checked before we arrived. The door on the closet did not work and toilet would not flush again on the third day. Housekeeping left a lot to be desired.

So Noisy!

Pros: The restaurants and bars.
Cons: Beware of sales pitches from other Hilton properties from the concierge!
Location: I can see how Virginia Beach could be fun if you like to party. I can also see why many others--myself included--would rather go to the Outer Banks.
This Hilton is quite nice--as long as you don't get a room on the south side of the building. Even at the 16th floor all we could hear was HVAC fans. Also, Virginia Beach is really really loud anyway--sirens, traffic, etc. Our room was ok, but the public areas and the restaurants are really nice. The staff is great too, except for one concierge.

Beautiful hotel on beach

Oceanview room balcony was nice to sit on. Faced the live music which played every day. Hotel is RIGHT on the beach. Room was very nice and clean. Bellhops were awesome! Only issue was the service at Catch31 hotel restaurant. Food was delicious but slow service several times

Nice higher-end hotel

Pros: Classy and great spot on Atlantic Avenue.
Cons: Better description of the room and bed.
Location: At the oceanfront in the middle of Atlantic Ave. Nice restaurant/club connected to the hotel.
Comfortable, clean room. Bed in the "superior" room was a bit low, but comfortable. Best suited for one adult though. Nice "touches" in the room and gym . Not as pricey to stay there during the week or after Labor Day.

Nice hotel right on the beach.

Pros: Just about everything.
Cons: Free Internet and Parking.
Location: On the beach and next to Neptune Park. Live music on Friday night. Plenty of stores and nice restaurants nearby.
Excellent hotel, located on the beach, next to Neptune Park where they had live music on Friday night. Pub and Restaurant were outstanding and very popular. Plenty of great restaurants very close by.

Nice Hotel right on the beach

Pros: It was right on the beach and convenient to stores and restaurants.
Cons: Add any additional costs into the cost of the rooms rather than nickel and dimeing additional items...
Location: Right on the beach, with frontage to multiple restaurants and stores....
Check in was easy and efficient. Hotel was very convenient and the staff was overall very friendly. The restaurant was excellent. They do charge additionally for internet and parking, which is unusual these days. Had two rooms and for some reason both room keys didn't work the 2nd day requiring us to go to the front desk. Reception clerk gave a bogus answer as to why the keys didn't work...said that bluetooth items like cell phones and computers deprogrammed the cards. They worked fine the first day, and the new cards worked fine the 2nd day and we didn't change a thing....Overall, it was a great stay...

Great Hotel

Cons: No free Internet
My room smelled slightly like cigarettes and I do not smoke. The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable after several hours of cramped flying and delays. The restaurant and bar service was exceptional. I would return to that restaurant and bar if in the area again regardless of where I stayed. The hotel service was above reproach. I had business products shipped to me at the hotel and had the hotel ship it back after my company paid for shipping. It was like having office support while away from the office. My company called constantly to arrange for details I needed but could not get while traveling on the plane, and the hotel accommodated every need.

This was a truly high end experience!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, private club
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Virginia Beach. This was on of the most pleasant hotel stays I have ever experienced. I booked a room on the empyrean club level floor and this granted us access to the sky bar and provided additional security in that the room key operated the elevator to go to the floor. The staff were very helpful and friendly as well. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel Catch 31. This place was perfect for the bachelorette party I was throwing for my sister and her 3 other friends. The prices were reasonable and we didn't have to wait. We called the restaurant ahead of time and they let us know when our table was ready by calling our room. The place had a very lounge/ club feel. Loved it! We went to the skybar after dinner, the rooftop bar exclusive to hotel guests and their friends, and finished the night there. Great DJ and atmosphere up there as well. I recommend waiting till about 11 to go up though, that is when the party gets going. This hotel was perfect for our girls night out in VA Beach!

A Great Getaway

Pros: Quiet
Cons: lack of friendly staff
My girlfriend and I enjoyed our short getaway to Virginia Beach. The hotel was very comfortable. The parking was confusing, at first. We didn't see the staff much. We would have liked to have been approached by staff and received more friendliness. We would stay there again.
