Pros: Staff was friendly, convenient parking, clean hotel. Cons: minor updates in room bathroom (bathroom door was very worn, tub stopper was missing), the pool heater was not working and we were not made aware-Part of the main reason we booked here was for the pool so we were disappointed when it was too cold for our toddler to enjoy.

Overall we had a nice stay. We stayed at the end of December and it was extremely windy! We stayed in building #2 with a pond view on the back side which was private and beautiful. The pool is in building #1, so plan accordingly. We didn’t use the pool because the water was cold and the second day it was closed. The room was clean and spacious. We didn’t like that the building was basically public accessible because the elevator brings you to the lobby. A restaurant is in walking distance from hotel. The park and beach is in walking distances and gorgeous views. Downtown Newport is a short drive and the cliff walk is a must!

Stayed for a week during Christmas. The weather was bad the entire time so we didn’t go to the beach. But i wanted a calm quiet stay and I got that. Overall a good experience

Suite we stayed in wasnt even connected to main hotel. We stayed during a snow storm so kids couldnt get in elevator and go swimming while it cleared. We would have to drive or walk wet. There is no restraunt attached either. We had one jail cell size window. Suite was clean and huge tho.

The rooms were cleaned. Location is great. Everything is closed. The cliff walk is closed and the mansions are probably 6-10 minutes drive depending on traffic. We had a great stay.

Ok for the price. Had to switch rooms. One TV remote was missing from the original room so couldn't operate TV. Some suggestions for a more desirable stay are king size pillows for king size beds, one complimentary bottle of water per guest in each room? also some type of shelf waisy high in showers would be helpful for 6ft tall guest or older guests so no bending which can cause a fall. Front desk clerk was helpful.
