Room wasn’t super clean, but we only stayed one night so we powered through. Great location to the beach, simple walk across the street! Beds were comfy but room was very basic. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice. Parking lot is easy to find but tiny!

Walking into the room was alarming. The comforter was all balled up and looked awful. Black feet print in the tub. Looked like it wasn’t even attempted to be cleaned. Then hair in the bed. We lasted 15 mins in the room and checked right back out. We were told we couldn’t get a refund for the first night because we had already ‘checked in’

Double charged

Location was fine, service was ok. First and foremost Ive been double charged by the hotel after paying for it via hotels.com . Hotels.com is sorting that out now. CC was given for parking parking and I hadnt noticed they charged we for the room until departure an a email was sent. I also was uncomfortable with the security. I returned to the hotel about 1am to my room entry code not working. After 5min they reset the code and asked me to check my email for the new code. After a little back and forth , because i never got an email, they realized they reset the code for another room and sent info to that customer. Needless to say I didnt sleep comfortably thinking they could reset and give my room info to another person.

First impression made us feel like we made a mistake. You get inside and it was not bad. Staff was limited. I think we seen two different men working the 3 days we were there and we didn't see them all the time or all day. Check in was not a good experience and i was charged twice but got it straightened out once we got home. Comfortable and clean rooms. Building was hot but room was comfortable in temperature. Nice view to the ocean and a super easy stroll over to the beach. Easy and short drive to any establishment one could possibly need. Unless you just want to be at the beach i would recommend a vehicle. Would stay again!

What a great place to stay, just a block from the beach and rode my bike to dozens of places to eat. Clean and comfortable room and the staff were very helpful. Highly recommended.

Great place by the beach - 100 steps from your room to the shore. The staff was so pleasant and accommodating they made our visit memorable. Beach chairs and towels available and great coffee/pastry and lunch spot right up the street. Easy walk to the nightlife of Newport Beach pier area. Four day stay and never needed a car. Will 100% return!
