Just returned home from our monthlong stay in Newport Beach. The house is clean, bright and newly renovated, perfect for us and our visiting friends and family. Loads of closet space and comfortable beds. Private parking spot is a huge plus. Loved having the separate guest suite and the location in Peninsula Point can’t be beat for that quiet, neighborhood feel. We would love to return. Two suggestions I would make would be to please add a teakettle for the stove as a kitchen essential and it would helpful to label the two house keys because they looked identical but worked four different doors with two locks each making coming and going a challenge every time. Thanks!

The Balboa Peninsula is one of the truly special parts of Southern California, and this home is a wonderful way to experience it.

Excellent location

Great location, steps to the beach in a quiet, nice neighborhood. Property was clean and well organized. Just a note one of the bedrooms/bathrooms is not attached to the house so this may be an issue with small children.

Loved the layout! My in-laws stayed with us in the back house which was perfect! It is walking distance from the beach and a quiet neighborhood. Would would definitely stay again.

Quiet Peninsula Point Gem

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation rental was perfect for my husband and I - 4 more could have comfortably joined us. It is small but perfectly maintained, and if you want a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a very short walk to the beach, this is the place for you. The kitchen is stocked with every imaginable appliance - no dining room but there is a bar with 2 stools in the kitchen and nice area for outdoor dining. Burr White Realty was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with - we had an issue with our initial reservation (not the fault of Burr White) but the transition was handled efficiently and promptly.

Excellent Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and stayed here for 5 weeks and enjoyed our stay. The location can't be beat - just 18 steps from the lifeguard tower. This area of the peninsula is very quiet and away from all the action. We enjoyed riding our bikes or walking most places. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and the separate studio was perfect for guests. My only suggestion would be if you are planning for a longer stay like ours, bring better bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths. The ones provided are tiny and thin and don't do much. If you are looking for a quiet get away, I would recommend.

Not So Clean Beach House

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've rented this house several years now. This is the first time I was very disappointed. When we first arrived the house didn't feel clean. The outside front and back patio's were not clean at all. we had to call to have them come back and clean it. the inside throw rugs were all wore out and the haven't been changed since we started renting it years ago. The towels that were supplied were old and wore out. you could tell that the minimum was done before the next guest arrived. The coffee cups were all stained from the previous renter and the stains would not come out. It's time for the owner or supervisor to do an evaluation on the property. The owner or Burr White has no problem raising the rates but cannot do there part to make sure it's worth it to the customer. The television service needs to be updated and provide more options to the customer. It was very difficult to operate and the service was down while we were there. All the bed sheets were stained, pillow cases were stained and some pillows did not have cases. Dust every where and hadn't been touched in a while. We used to love this location, but now we have to do a precheck to make sure its worth renting. Not pleased at all for what there asking for to rent. This may go to deaf ears but maybe someone will see it. The best thing we enjoyed was the location.

Wonderful Stay

Loved this little house. Clean, cozy and close to all we wanted to do (beach, bike rides, Great Mex, ferry to Balboa Bars), etc. Communication with property manager was fantastic and they seem to really care about guest experience.

Great Little House Amazing Location

The location of this little home was great! The home it self is on the smaller side but still very accommodating for our family. Everything was clean and in good condition. Kitchen was one of the better stocked I have experienced. It does lack a real dining space and there is an opportunity to have a dining area on the front porch. That is my only recommendation .

The location is quiet so perfect if you want to avoid the craziness of the downtown/pier area but still easily accessible to everything by bike or car. Kitchen was fully stocked and front porch and back patio were nice hangout spots. Street parking was not a problem, but nice to have parking area as well. Easy walk to the beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I spent 3 months in Newport Beach. After spending 6 weeks in a less than ideal rental in a very congested neighborhood, we were thrilled to move to 1759 Miramar. It is spacious with a nice floorpan and is very well furnished. It was like being in my own home with details like multiple pairs of scissors, pads of paper, a colander, a set of nesting mixing bowls, a laundry basket, hamper, etc, etc. Also, there is a full sized washer and dryer, and, unlike our first place, was NOT a coin-up set up! Parking was a breeze with one space on the property and ample on street parking. As it turns out, this is a major plus for Newport Beach. The location is @ a block to the beach. It also an easy walk to the paved biking/walking path and the Balboa neighborhood Main Street, where you'll find restaurants, beach shops, a local pharmacy, a post office, and is near the ferry to Balboa Island, which can connect you to Corona Del Mar. (Check out the tide pools at the end of Poppy Street!) We could not have been happier and felt so lucky that our Burr White vacation specialist found this amazing rental for us!

Perfect lil' Bungalow in the Perfect Location

We stayed here for a few days in April and it was delightful. We are a family of 4 and it couldn't have been more well suited for our needs and wants. A short walk to the L street beach and a short drive to the other beaches and amenities Newport Beach has to offer. Burr White was friendly, professional and responsive. We'll definitely be back!

Two blocks from one of the most beautiful beaches SoCal has to offer. The home is fully equipped with everything you need to eat a meals in and 2 patios are perfect for having a drink and relaxing.
