Tranquil Get-Away

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was perfect for a family of four. It is in a secluded area providing so much relaxation and peace, but still close enough to the towns in the area.

Sweet little cabin

We had a wonderful visit to this quiet mountain cabin! Loved mornings on the porch listening to the birds and admiring the view. We had a few complications leading up to our visit. Debbie was very accommodating and willing to be flexible, which was very much appreciated. 10/10

Spacious and Quiet

We loved this modern cabin in the mountains. There is fresh air throughout the day and night. It is fully equipped with comfy beds, room to eat as a family, and a great kitchen to cook family meals. No A/C had us concerned; but, even in July, the nights cooled off nicely and we loved the fresh, mountain air. Location of the cabin is perfect for sightseeing in nearby Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, and we even ventured up to Airy, NC (town where Andy Griffith was raised and his inspiration for Mayberry). Our family of 3 had a most enjoyable week in the mountains of NC and the cabin is very modern and comfortable. Definitely recommend. Most challenging part was finding it after dark, which I do not recommend...but, owner was most helpful in guiding us to the cabin ;-)

Beautiful, peaceful cabin

This was our second stay at this beautiful log cabin— peaceful, well-kept grounds, comfortable, cozy, and very clean. This cabin has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The view from the porch is gorgeous. We love to sit there on the rocking chairs with a glass of wine.

Our family had a fantastic stay in the heart of the mountains. The cabin was just as described…the only problem was that we couldn’t stay longer! We look forward to returning for another stay in the future.

Lovely Mountain Retreat

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this little cabin! The large porch is amazing to sit and enjoy the morning or evening quiet and view the changing leaves. It had everything we needed from cookie sheets, to extra blankets, games, good water pressure for a hot shower and large firepit to enjoy. The driveway is steep but if you keep moving even our minivan did just fine. It was clean and well stocked. Thank you!

Secluded authentic Log Cabin

Very nice log cabin off the beaten path. Cabin located off a main road but driveway heads up a mountain so with any chance of snow you’ll need 4x4. Cabin has all amenities even Wi-Fi. There is only 1 tv in living room so if you like tv when going to sleep it’s not happening. Great restaurants nearby and a nice fireplace and also an outside fire pit. Would definitely recommend

Great experience with cozy cabin. Over 20 Deer sightings around the cabin. Nice mountain view, owners were great and easy to communicate with. A memorable stay, we're likely to return. Good hub for Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Boone, etc. Newland shopping not far from cabin.

Beautiful Escape

We came to Newland for Labor Day to escape the heat and the noise of daily life. This cabin gave a respite from both. Beautiful location up on the mountain. The cabin was super cute and had everything we needed. We slept with the windows open every night since there is no AC and it was so nice. Very clean linens and cabin. Appreciated the WiFi and TV which we used for downtime each night. Our doggie loved it too. Plenty of room to explore outdoors. Quick drive to Newland and Linville for activities. Definitely would stay again!
