Lovey and friendly place to stay

The hotel is really nice and staff are dead friendly. The second to,e we’ve stayed. The only gripe, which I don’t like moaning, was when we stayed last time the manager in the restaurant and staff were superb, couldn’t do enough. This time, whomever is the”manager”, isn’t? The food was lovely, the service for one lad was great, you blonde lad but thereafter was bad. Waited ages for drinks and about 25 minutes for the bill, which surely is where you should be on the ball? Had to ask for our bill twice! Wasn’t busy but staff not managed well? Maybe just a poor day but if you look when we last stayed and who the manager was, you should have kept him? Overall though a lovely place, thank you

We booked this hotel for a one-night stay on September 13, 2025 . Our experience was shockingly bad. · Room was dirty on arrival: The bathroom bin was full of previous guests' disgusting waste. The toilet seat was also loose and broken. · Extremely noisy: Room 316 is next to the hotel's loud chimney and extractor fan. The constant mechanical noise, plus loud music and people shouting, made sleep impossible. We have video proof of the noise. · Worst customer service: We called reception multiple times—no one answered. We had to go down in person to complain. The staff did nothing for over 2 hours. When we complained about the noise, the receptionist offered a refund and told us to leave at 8 PM instead of helping. This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. We do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid Room 316 at all costs.
