The room we stayed was clean and comfortable but the toilets were always too wet and the bathrooms downstairs near the stairs was too smelly On the day of checkout - we had no power from 7am in the morning which made it worse for us to charge our phones and laptops. Area around was really convenient for shopping and dining

It was excellent value for money staff very friendly and accommodating . rooms and facilities very clean ,slight road noise but unexpected with the major roadworks thruout Newcastle . Food good ,would definitely stay again.

Staff at Jesmond were super friendly and helpful. The room was tidy and modern, shared bathroom was tidy great layout... but... I booked on a Friday night... forgot I was above a pub. Patron noise was pretty loud, even some of the other guests in the accommodation hallway. Could also hear the traffic slightly. I'd suggest you take ear plugs if you're sensitive to noise. I only ate dessert in the Jesmond restaurant, it was great and bar staff as well. Would like to maybe try a meal there. Once the Jesmond did close, it was really quiet!
