Overall, it was a nice experience! Unfortunately, the backspace is shared so that is not private. I did have issues with the free parking space. The host was quick to respond and get it handled so that is a plus. Street parking can be really tough in that area most streets ask for decals or have pacific days that you cannot park. I did have to park the car blocks away the first night and felt very unsafe walking back. All in all, it was a nice place. The neighborhood was quiet, but the surrounding area was uncomfortable. People will walk around the back of the house to ask you questions. The good thing is there are cameras all around the house as well as all the other properties on the street. There is a door locked in the residence, which should be mentioned just so you are aware that there is a third bedroom. Transportation to New York was fabulous 15 minutes to the Penn station and about a 15 minute ride to New York City. The host I give a 10 out of 10 area a 5/10. Also I did not see a washer and dryer in the apartment it may have been in the garage but I am not sure. The American Dream Mall was definitely a plus about 30min away. Hudson River Walk is also a must see that was also 25 min away so worth it especially as the sun goes down. Very easy access to NYC and around Jersey!
