Convenient and good place. Great shower and bath tub just be prepared for 4 hours of cleaning cycle so bath early. Too much light coming through curtains from CBD area so maybe get room on other the other side. Great welcome from staff. Worth the money.

A decent enough hotel however, definitely in need of a refresh. The rooms were clean enough and it was fine for an overnight and service waa good, but would expect more given the price paid. Unsure if we were given the older rooms or if there were better rooms.

Stay for WOMAD

The location is very convenient for the centre as well as sites just outside like Pukekura Park and Brooklands Park where WOMAD takes place. There was daily housekeeping and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when i needed to book an extra night.. The room and shared hotel facilities were clean. It doesn't currently have on site cafe/restaurant, but there are a number of really good places within a short walk. It's close to the local bus services and the coastal walk which is a beautiful walk in places. It has a guest laundry which i found useful. The hotel itself despite being close to town, felt quite peaceful and relaxed. I would happily stay again.
