The cabin was so warm and welcoming. It was clean, attractive, comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed and then some. The layout was nice with a bedroom and bath on each side for some extra privacy. Not only were our dogs welcomed, but there were little extras for them like bowls and treats. We enjoyed the deck and screened porch. The screened porch was a special treat during a brief thunder storm.

Little Lodge was a wonderful getaway -- exactly as listed. As noted the roads in and out require an AWD or 4WD vehicle but the directions were great and we had no trouble in our Subaru. Our family (along with the dog) was very comfortable. We enjoyed Luray caverns and New Market sites. Definitely hope to return again!

Perfect Christmas getaway

My girlfriend and I had a great time at the Little Lodge, the cabin is perfect anyone who wants to spend some time away. Be prepared for the dirt road up and do some planning for any groceries you may need and make sure to check out some of the great trails nearby.
