Room was clean and comfortable, but wind howling through the door so loudly was not pleasant at all!! High pitched whistling made it very hard to relax! Location really wasn’t convenient. Not within walking distance of anything. Nothing around. Had to drive into town. Only restaurant close by not good at all!

Good sized room that was nicely furnished and very clean. Room for 2 suitcases. Good sized modern bathroom. The manager was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a choice of cereal, yoghurt and fruit and toast and spreads. Not elaborate but similar to home. The motel is situated on the harbour in the industrial area. Good cafe restaurant on the water front and only 50 m from the hotel. Easy drive in Nelsen fir shopping and restaurant options.

Beautiful room overlooking the harbour. Very clean room and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Easy to walk into town (about 30 mins) or to walk to the museums and ‘Centre of NZ’ along the picturesque river. Quiet area for comfortable sleeping and plenty of parking. Highly recommended.
