The hotel was of a typical Sri Lankan standard and staff were generally helpful. However the hotel needs renovation to bring it back to how the photographs of the property portray and cleaning improved to areas not immediately visible, for example, behind curtains where there were cobwebs and various dead insects and their eggs.May be of use also for the hotel to check out the electrical safety around the pool as it was noted that the junction box for one of the pool lights, situated in the scum channel, was open and exposed to water as well as other exposed wiring around.

Till att börja med fick vi inget svar pÄ mail om airport pick up, hotellet i sig kÀnns nedgÄnget med lösa sladdar mest överallt, ingen som helst info om wifi, frukost, stÀdning(enligt hemsidan stÀdning varje dag vilket inte stÀmde)poolmeny eller annan info som skulle kunna vara bra. VÄrt rum var vÀl nÄgorlunda ok men bullrigt eftersom det lÄg direkt mot huvudleden och skjutfönstren hade hoppat ur skenan vilket gjorde att flygfÀn och bullret kom in obehindrat. PoolomrÄdet hade sex bÀddar som alla sett bÀttre dagar och sjÀlva poolen verkade inte ha nÄgra pumpar igÄng vilket gjorde vattnet ofrÀscht. Den toalett som lÄg i anslutning till poolen var rejÀlt Àckligt med kackerlackor som inte stÀdades bort och allmÀnt ofrÀscht dÀr med. SÀngen pÄ rummet var hÄrd men ok, badrummet rÀtt nedgÄnget och rejÀlt igenkalkade munstycken i duschen, sÄphalt marmorgolv.

They denied I had a reservation!!!

They said that I did not have a reservation with them! It was an aweful experience! I had flown from NY to India, alone. I was tired and needed to rest and shower after 21 hours on two planes. They said that I must have a reservation with a different ocean pearl. That wasn't true, I have all the confirmations and texts and emails from them and Expedia. I had to walk with my bags and go to three other hotels and ask for a room. Shame on them!!!
