Do not rent this house

Where to begin? Mold on mattress, mold on walls, broken glass in bedrooms and kitchen, light fixtures dangling by a wire, malfunctioning fire alarm, my son was wheezing within 30 min of arrival. Still have not gotten my money back and it's been 6 weeks.

Unsanitary and not as advertised

The house was not as advertised. The home features holes in walls, furniture that is literally falling apart, a broken glass table, and filth. First, we got to the home an hour after the check in time and had to ask the host how to get inside. From there, we found trash and two disgusting mattresses in the laundry room. The home looks like it has never been maintained and the pictures online are deceiving. For example, the pictures showed a room with a chandelier which has been removed and replaced with a cap. Another room showed two beds online and now there is one bed. Other issues included exposed outlets and the home had clearly not been cleaned. We found hair on the floor, a used bandaid on the porch and the worst item was the pill that my son found in the carpet. I would never stay here again and will likely never use VRBO again as they were of no assistance.
