Imagínese entrar en el corazón de Nápoles, en el centro histórico de la UNESCO, en un edificio de esquina entre Spaccanapoli y S. Gregorio Armeno donde, según las creencias populares, nació nuestro santo patrón: San Gennaro.
La casa, recién renovada, tiene una terraza privada desde la cual se pueden admirar docenas de cúpulas, el Vesubio y todos los mil colores de esta increíble ciudad.
¿Estás listo para darte un chapuzón en la historia de Nápoles? El precio a pagar es la falta de un ascensor.

La casa cuenta con 2 amplios dormitorios totalmente amueblados, un salón con sofá cama y una cocina equipada, baño privado con ducha y artículos esenciales (toallas, secador de pelo, jabón y champú). La casa está en el último piso de un antiguo edificio de interés histórico. Cuenta con una gran terraza panorámica, desde la cual es posible admirar, a la derecha, el cerro Vomero, Castel Sant'Elmo, San Martino; a la izquierda, el Vesubio, la Catedral de Nápoles y los característicos techos napolitanos del centro histórico. El apartamento está ubicado en el característico San Gregorio Armeno, famoso por la exhibición de cunas y pastores de los maestros artesanos napolitanos.

Los huéspedes tendrán acceso a todas las áreas del apartamento.

El edificio se encuentra a pocos pasos de las principales atracciones turísticas de la ciudad, incluida la Catedral de Nápoles, la Piazza San Domenico Maggiore, el metro de Nápoles, la Capilla Sansevero, la Via dei Tribunali, la Piazza del Gesù, el Museo Madre y el Museo Arqueológico Nacional. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Altstadt und hat eine super Lage um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden oder sich schnell Mittags etwas zum Essen zu holen. Die Dachterrasse des Appartments ist sehr schön mit Blick auf den Vesuv. Für uns war nicht ersichtlich, dass es ein Durchgangszimmer (als Schlafzimmer gibt), die könnte man noch in der Anzeige erwähnen. Die Küche könnte besser ausgestattet sein. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Appartment und würden wiederkommen.

The best feature by far is the deck area, just lovely. Great location and helpful host. A bit odd needing to go to another address to get the key but found it easily. The apartment didn't have a laundry as advertised which would have changed our thoughts on booking it. The bedroom layout isn't perfect as you need to walk through one bedroom to get to the next so not much privacy. The apartment could do with a spruce up as getting dated.

Fantastic property and host. A bit of a puzzle to find, but Dario was super responsive to our questions and requests, also giving tips for our onward trip. Neapel habe ich als unruhige Stadt empfunden. In der nähren Umgebung, der Wohnung alles mit Graffity vollgeschmiert, fast alle Häuser sehen eher runtergekommen aus.Essen gehen und die Napolitaner spitze. Die Wohnung selber würde ich nicht als luxuriös bezeichnen. Die Küchenausstattung ist eher mager, die Seifenspender waren leer , den Duschkopf habe ich selber erstmal entkalkt. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse liegt eigentlich überwiegend auf die gegenüberliegende Mauer, mit sehr vielen Antennen.Die Flugzeuge die ständig Überweg fliegen sind auch gewöhnungsbedürtig. Für Italienische Verhältnisse aber vielleicht alles normal.

Misleading Listing and Horrible Experience – Stay Away

Where to start? After a long travel day, we were sent on a scavenger hunt to get the key, walking to a totally different street just to enter the building. The entrance? Covered in graffiti. The apartment is on the top floor with a tiny elevator that costs 0.50 each way. The owner left 1.50, but it wasn’t enough to fit us and our luggage, so we had to carry the rest up.The photos were misleading. It’s technically two bedrooms, but one is only accessible through the other—zero privacy. The listing also claimed a washer, but there wasn’t one. The patio view? Ugly brick walls and rusted TV antennas.Worst part: a security guard dug through our trash at checkout, screamed at us in Italian for putting pizza boxes in the wrong bin, and called us “stupid Americans.” My family felt totally unsafe. Absolutely would not stay here again.

Heart of Naples

This apartment is located on main streets of the historic centre. If shopping or looking for souvenirs you just need to step outside. We walked to/from the train station which was handy for arrival/departure and day trips (take Umberto to Duomo if wanting to avoid scooters while pulling luggage). Dario was kind enough to leave .50 for the first ride on the the elevator when checking in. Coffee was also supplied which was appreciated. We used the upper bedroom and it was very quiet. We did have to walk farther from the unit to pick up the first key from a lock box to check in. Fyi, Italy increased the tourists rates March 1 so there’s an extra charge of 5 pp/per night.

A good cheap and cheerful base to visit the city.

A cheap and cheerful apartment in the old town with a roof terrace. Really convenient for visiting the city. Dario is responsive and helpful. Only one bed was made up on our arrival and the cleaner appeared quickly to remedy the situation. We were there for the earthquake and although no one checked that we were OK Dario was very helpful when we asked for advice. The flat is sparsely equipped and the only supplies are a random selection of what previous guests have left behind. Overall it’s a good, inexpensive base to visit Naples

Stay in Napoli 5th floor with a small elevator 50 cents

The host of this Vrbo was extremely friendly and available for any assistance, The location of this Vrbo was in the middle of the historic district. Lots of stimulating activity. The building has alot of history. There was an elevator which took 50 cents to take a ride up or down. It was really great to have the elevator because it is 10 flights of stairs to the apartment. We did have some technical difficulties with the elevator but got it going most of the time. The apartment furniture is quite dated . Probably a big ordeal to get new furniture up to the top floor as the elevator is just big enough for to people standing close together, The host was very gracious.

Awesome old town experience

Right in the heart of busy old town. The perfect place to call home after a busy day of being a tourist. Balcony is great for eating meals and just relaxing. If you are wanting a true Napoli exp this Vrbo is a must

Excellent view!

Super lækker lejlighed til 4 personer. Terrassen har et fantastisk view ud over tagene og Vesuv. Trapperne op er hårde med bagage, men det hele værd når man kommer op. Det står i beskrivelsen, at lejligheden er op til 6 personer. Vi var 4 og blev charget for 2 personer ekstra? Dario var meget nem at kommunikere med og rigtig hjælpsom. Vi kommer gerne tilbage - der er ved at blive bygget en elevator, det blir godt.

Une aventure napolitaine

Un appartement plein de surprises, un très bon emplacement pour visiter la ville et toutes les commodités en bas de l'immeuble. Pour y accéder, il faut monter 117 marches et ce n'est pas simple. Nous avions pris l'appartement pour sa terrasse mais là, c'est la première fois que nous découvrions un mobilier dépareillé et très sale. Le logement est très propre mais pas du tout équipé. Nous avons été obligé d'acheter une cafetière. Un seul petit torchon pour une semaine. Il n'y avait même pas de sel, poivre et d'huile d'olive. C'est globalement très décevant.

Très bien situé et très agréable

Très agréable de trouver du gel douche, shampoing, savon et des capsules de café. Les lits sont confortables. Le petit déjeuner et l'apéro sur la terrasse sont un bonheur ! Si vous avez le sommeil léger, des boules Quies seront utiles, car les avions passent dès très tôt le matin.

Good location in historic center

Located in pedestrian only historical center. Steps away from many shops and restaurants. Quick walk to Museums and train station. Apartment was spacious, well stocked. Located on the top floor with no elevator so be prepared for 100+ steps to reach the top. Excellent patio/outdoor space with amazing views.

Nice Place

The apartment itself is very nice, spacious, lovely balcony and great bedrooms. The location is good, if you can find it! A better number displayed at the street would help. Our displeasure is from the temperature being over 80 degrees with no a/c. The unit is advertised as having a/c. It does, but after trying all of the remotes, we couldn't get it to work and contacted the host since he did not meet us at the unit when we arrived. We were told that it won't be turned on until mid-May. I then asked if we could get a fan and got no response from the host. We slept with the balcony doors and all windows open for any kind of air flow and were kept up by howling cats, birds, horns and general Naples noise, not to mention early sunrise. I contacted the host again the next day to confirm the check out procedure, he told me to leave euros for the tax. I asked again about a fan and he admitted he was not in Naples so he couldn't help. I was very disappointed to have our trip start off like this. Hopefully there will be improvement for future guests as the apartment is very nice.

Nice apartment above the buzz of downtown Naples

We had a nice stay at the apartment. Everything was okay. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace. What we missed was a coffee maker with a bigger capacity.

Appartamento super con vista super

Questa fantastica casa si trova nel cuore della Napoli antica. Situata in Via San Gregorio Armeno gode di un bellissimo terrazzo dal quale è possibile ammirare il Vesuvio. Nonostante l’appartamento sia in una delle strade più caotiche della città grazie al suo ultimo piano (senza ascensore ma ne vale comunque la pena fare le scale) è super silenzioso. Nei dintorni è pieno di mini market bar ristoranti e pizzerie tutto è davvero molto vicino e raggiungibile a piedi compresa la fermata della metropolitana. Dario, il proprietario di casa è stato sempre disponibile per tutto il soggiorno e alla fine della vacanza ci ha anche offerto una deliziosa colazione al bar vicino casa. Tutto perfetto, spero di poter ritornare quanto prima!

Even better than we’d hoped

Looking at Google Street view I was a little apprehensive. But we felt so fortunate to have stayed at this property in the middle of Naples. The building sits at the crossstreet of a famous lane for shopping for nativity scenes and one of the great walking streets of Naples. It was busy most evenings with happy people on their nightly strolls. It always felt safe, vibrant and happy. Some of the famous pizza places in Naples are literally 2-3 minutes walk. The awesome National Archaeological museum is 10 minutes away and the quick train to Pompei and Herculaneum is a 20 minute walk (or even quicker via subway). The stairs up to the place are indeed serious and if you have a lot of luggage it may be a struggle, but once up, the place is very well furnished. It has two comfortable beds in separate rooms making it a good spot for 4 people. And the terrace is amazing. We loved having coffee in the morning looking down on that great walking street and watching the kids walking to school. At night the street was busy and a pleasure to watch with a beer, but the terrace and the apartment were quiet. To the left is a terrific view of Vesuvius. Dario, our contact during our stay, was prompt, helpful, and fun to communicate with. We never met but his texts were clear and all we needed. We would happily stay here again. The building is very secure with either a key to the entrance or a guard out front, plus, who else is going to walk up all those stairs? Ha ha. Wonderful stay.

Holy stairs!

Stairs are no joke with a suitcase. Just as others described. We were a bit concerned with the entrance of the stairway but apartment was clean and the air worked great. Cool street. Short stay for us but we enjoyed it. Great communication with the owners.
