Enjoy sunrise with ocean views from the top deck with your morning coffee and sunset overlooking the natural preserve from the sunroom or back decks in the evening.

After enjoying the beautiful beaches, your family will love spending time relaxing together in the living area accented with vaulted ceilings, new furniture, and ocean views. With a dining area that seats eight and overflow seating for six in the sunroom, everyone can enjoy meals together. Make meals in the well-equipped kitchen or cook up today’s catch on the charcoal park grill. The newly furnished and reimagined game room on the bottom floor will have you and your family spending quality time together. Let the kids splash in the pool while you soak in the hot tub or relax in the hammock. Later, you can round up the family to shoot hoops in the driveway.

Located in South Nags Head at milepost 17.5, Salt and Light is one of the few places on the Outer Banks where you can have the comforts of a newly decorated and modern home yet still experience the “old school” OBX vacation that made our beaches so famous. Salt and Light is centrally located so you can explore the local attractions: Outer Banks Fishing Pier, Jennette’s Pier, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Jockey’s Ridge, Manteo, Hatteras, and even Ocracoke.

The private 14x24 pool is generally open the 2nd week of May – the 2nd week of October.

Sheets and towels are not provided but can be added to any reservation for a fee.

Layout: Ground Level: Recreation room with a card table and large TV, full-size refrigerator and sink, full bedroom with TV, bedroom with 2 pyramid bunk beds, full hall bath. Private pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, park grill, basketball hoop, parking.

Mid Level: Main entry, king en suite with a private bath with shower/tub combo and deck access, queen bedroom with TV, bedroom with 2 twin beds and TV, full hall bath with shower/tub combo, hall laundry closet.

Top Level: Living area with large TV, ocean views, and access to the sun deck, dining area with seating for 8, kitchen, sunroom with seating for 6, half bath, king en suite with deck access and a private bath with double sink and shower.
