Great stay in February

We came for a long weekend in February. A family of four, perfect size for us, right on the sound with a great view. The hot tub was a great amenity to have and we really liked how close it was to stores and restaurants. We would definitely come back!

Cute soundside home

Marvelous view on the sound in a darling quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway that is centrally located in OBX. We would stay again.

Great views but small

The pictures fooled me with the size of the property. The view was amazing though. Little disappointed there was not cable/satellite tv provided like advertised. The keyless entry was aggravating getting in and out in the freezing temperatures and wind. You had to stand and wait for it to click several times before it opened.

Can't beat the view

Family enjoyed the week between Christmas and New Year's at this charming cottage. Space was just enough for two couples, or a small family. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed sitting and watching the water when the weather wasn't good for outdoor activities. Beds are comfortable as are the sofa and seats in the living room. We like to cook, and the kitchen layout was good for us. The only thing we missed was a can opener! Would definitely come back for another visit.

Great location.

This was the perfect location in Nags Head with a beautiful view of the sounds. Check in process was seamless and communication was great. House was clean and had everything we needed. Downstairs room was a perfect place to store my rods and fishing equipment.

Outer Banks Beach House

Our stay was fabulous! We really enjoyed being right on the water watching the sunsets every night. Getting to the beach was easy, as was parking. It would have been helpful to know ahead of time about the swimming boards and tubs that were available for our use. We had talked about buying them before our trip. We also enjoyed using the crab trap. We caught crabs from the deck and cooked them for dinner. The kids loved that.We didn't know about the hot tub which was enjoyed by all. Thank you!

OBX Spring Break

We LOVED this rental! There was plenty of room for our family of 4 (2 adults, 17 and 10 year olds). The kitchen was equipped with everything needed to prepare meals. The house is clean and beds were comfortable. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the barrier islands. It’s close to grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping, but in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The pier was phenomenal! We watched amazing sunsets nightly on the sound, caught several catfish off the private pier and enjoyed the relaxing hot tub! We plan to stay again!

Nags Head trip

Great house. We loved the views. Since the weather did not cooperate for fishing following Hurricane Ian — we turned this into a sightseeing trip. We visited the lighthouses at Corolla, Bode Island and Cape Hatteras. We are great seafood. We took Wild Horse Tour in Corolla. We visited Manteo and the Roanoke Marsh lighthouse. We cooked breakfast at home and ate on the deck. Great Trip. We would stay here again. Great sunsets.

Lovely and convenient location

We enjoyed the lovely view of the sound. We fished off the dock. The beach was a 5 minute drive away. Groceries, restaurants, and shopping were very convenient. The hot tub was perfect on the cool nights. We had a great vacation at this lovely home in a beautiful setting.

Beautiful location and cute beach house

We loved the location of this property! Been coming to OBX for a very long time and first time staying on the sound. Loved drinking coffee in the morning on the deck (Evensaw a handful of dolphins swim through! One even came up to the dock, it was amazing to see them so close!!) You could tell the house had been updated in recent years and the owners did a nice job. The only suggestion that I would have would be to get a new mattress for the upstairs bedroom. (And pillows). Overall, this is a great place on the sound!

Peaceful Getaway

This lovely home has everything you need, is in a quiet neighborhood, and is the perfect spot for exploring north or south. We loved relaxing in the hammock and fishing right off the dock. We also loved watching the sunset and watching for shooting stars streaming across the Milky Way. This home is perfect for families - we will be back!!!

Fabulous stay!

This property was perfection for our family of 6 ( Me - mom and three grown 22-25-28 yo daughters with son in law and boy friend.). The home is well equipped and had everything we needed. Sunsets were amazing . Every night the view was spectacular. Swimming in the warm, shallow sound right off the deck was fabulous. We appreciated the kayak and had fun in the hot tub. The beach was so close too! I need to work on my crab catching technique so we will have to come back ! This is a great house.

Great Soundside Retreat

My family and I loved this quiet and peaceful house on the sound. The views are spectacular and we found it to be close to everything. We loved the privacy of a quiet street, the well-equipped kitchen, the private dock, the hangout area under the house, etc. We enjoyed our week very much!

Nice by the sound

Everything about this rental was great. The house was clean and nice. Loved having the sound a few feet from the backyard to fish, kayak, swim and take in the beautiful view. It was close to everything. We enjoyed our stay very much and appreciated the early check in!!
