The villa has the most fantastic setting. The views are glorious. The villa itself is very comfortable, and has everything you could ask for. Anniversary 10-day getaway

This villa was a great stay for us with beautiful views of the sea and bay. There are lots of sights and beaches within 30 minute drive. The house is very clean, well maintained, and the hosts were very gracious. We will definitely recommend this house and would love to stay again.

The best stay EVER!

My husband and I stayed at the villa for 6 wonderful days. We had the best stay ever at Katerina and Dimitris's place. They are absolutely wonderful, charming, and helpful hosts. Their villa is OUTSTANDING! A real dream house for a dream vacation. The house is immaculately clean, comfortable, and beautiful, the view is breathtaking! It's near wonderful historical sites (Mycenae, Epidaurus, Nafplio, and more). There are plenty of taverns, restaurants, lovely beaches in the near vicinity. The pool is lovely and super clean. The villa has all the amenities you need. We could stay there forever :) And again - we can't praise Katerina and Dimitris enough! You will enjoy every moment!

A wonderful villa holiday

We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous family holiday, staying 9 nights in Villa Anemos. With our daughters growing up (21, 20 and 17), we have to get it right if they want to tag along with Mum and Dad. And this holiday was possibly our best ever. We had originally booked for 2020, but Covid forced us to postpone. Katerina and Dimitris were flexible and helpful on this. Then, our flights were re-jigged (due to Covid) – which meant arriving at the villa at midnight. But again, no problem - Dimitris was there to greet us and settle us in. We were wonderfully impressed by the Villa, although too tired at that stage to really take it in. The following morning, the view that greeted us was spectacular. So often, brochures exaggerate and embellish with clever professionally taken photos. Not this time. The villa’s setting and view is frankly incredible – and was a constant joy throughout the holiday. The villa itself was very well appointed and a pleasure to stay in. The pool is just as perfect as it looks in the photo! The only crisis of the holiday came when our rental car key was dropped into the sea on day 1. Katerina and Dimitris immediately came to the rescue. Katerina co-ordinated with the car rental company to get a spare key couriered to her house, while Dimitris drove us to four separate local car rental companies in Tolo and Nafplio until we secured a 24-hour deal at a reasonable (locally negotiated!) price. From then on everything went perfectly. Lots of sunbathing, relaxing, reading and family games, interspersed with fascinating trips to local sites of historic interest (in our case: Epidaurus, Tiryns, Mycenae, Sparta/Mystras). The old town in Nafplio is delightful. We found excellent restaurants there, as well as in the local villages of Vivari and Drepano. All in all, a superb family holiday. A great family holiday

What a lovely place and, particularly out of season, it was peaceful yet with lovely weather. We were in the pool every day and in the sea throughout the week also. Eating out in the local tavernas was a delight and day trips to local attractions such as Epidavros, Nafplion and the local olive oil factory all added to a wonderful week. Thanks also to Dimitris and Katerina who did their utmost to ensure that we had everything we needed and were totally at home in their villa.

Amazing Villa stay

We stayed for a week at the end of September. Beautiful villa close to good tavernas and within 20 minutes of Nafplio.Katerina and Dimitros were perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. We particularly enjoyed the pool as it was a good size and deeper than most. We cannot fault the villa, it was just perfect and we will definitely visit again.

Wonderful Villa and wonderful location

The villa was exceptional as were our lovely hosts who greeted us on arrival and said goodbyes on our departure. The area is stunning and the villa was well placed to visit the many sites all within a short drive away. The views from the villa were amazing - it was a pleasure just to sit and watch the fishing and pleasure boats just come and go throughout the day. The local village right on the water front was an absolute delight and had good restaurants especially The Mermaid. We just cannot wait to return!

We rented 2 villas for our family of 10 and they were beautiful. Everything is of the finest quality and decorated beautifully. Wonderfully comfortable beds and pillows. Katerina and Demetris were incredible hosts and so much fun to talk to. The villas are a short drive from Tolo which has a nice beach with paddle boards, kayaks, boats, etc. I would also recommend Panorama restaurant in Tolo. It is about a 20 min drive into Nafplion, so very convenient. We stayed 5 days and wished it could have been longer--hated to leave.

Perfection, truly hard to fault!

We've just returned from two and a half weeks in this beautiful villa and can only endorse the rave reviews that lead us here in the first place. The back of the villa on approach appears deceptively smaller (a bit of a tardis)than anticipated, then you step out of the car (a straightforward two hour drive from Athens) and those views!!!! Not only the view in the main photo which is indeed stunning, but this villa also has spectacular views at night over distant villages. The lights, boats, mountains all make for an intoxicating combination. Wonderful place to see the stars at night also! The villa is perfectly equipped with everything you could need. All bedrooms are a good size and lead out on the lower level to the pool and views! Very comfortable beds and everywhere is immaculately cleaned and maintained. Quiet fans and efficient air conditioning, which was most welcome as Greece was experiencing a heatwave whilst we were there. We stayed in more than we ordinarily would, both days and evenings as it was very difficult to pull ourselves away from this idyllic spot. Our teenage children were very happy ( important to family harmony on holidays these days) with the quality of the wifi and with the exception of very heavy traffic times the speeds were very good. We spent much time in the pool both swimming, playing, but also just watching the incredible views from the infinity end! There is a very good local beach at Kondili (stony)only a few minutes drive away and another favourite of ours was Karathona (sandy)an easy but slightly longer drive away. Both have beds, umbrellas (no charge although you are of course expected to buy at least one drink) and places to get a drink. If you're going for longer most people pick up food from the bakery and buy drinks at the beach. In the local village of Drepano, a few minutes drive, are many tavernas on the market square, and great bakeries and small supermarkets. Big supermarkets are in Naplio about 20 mins drive. There is a lovely located taverna on the beach at Vivari, Ouna Ratsa Ouna Fatsa, but be prepared to have your food virtually thrown at you and in which ever order it arrives! The best thing about this villa are the incredible hosts Katerina and Dimitris. They really care about making this place perfect and that shows in everything they do. They are charming, responsive and totally committed to ensuring your stay is perfect in every detail! We'll most definitely be back!

Stunning Villa and location

The Property was lovely in a stunning location and the owners very friendly and considerate. The location was perfect for us - a very quiet area with beautiful views across the bay but close to the local village and Nafplio. The house was exceptionally clean and well looked after and the owners kept everything in order and were there to help if we needed it. I would definitely go there again.

A wonderful place

I most strongly recommend this place. The house is lovely, well-designed and very well equipped. Katerina and Dimitris are wonderful people - they were most generous and helpful. The view from the house, and even more so from the pool, is amazing. The location is great for traveling to nearby attractions such as Mykine, Nafplion and Epidavros. There are many nice restaurants within a few min. drive. The nearby beach is also very beautiful, though it was too cold for us in April. In sum, we had the most wonderful time and hope to be back!

This house is fantastic in every single detail. Of course the pool and the view would make the place exceptional all on their own. I would stay there even if the house was a disaster, but the house is perfect in every detail: fabulous beds/linens, well stocked kitchen, plenty of space, and pristine clean. It's a 2 hour drive from Athens so very convenient. It's location is near a small village but far enough away that you feel very spoiled and pampered as you view the sea and swim in the pool and you can feel the quiet. We had a hard time motivating ourselves to leave the house to go to the beach! And if that isn't enough...you have the perfect host in Katrina. Easy to work with, available when needed, communicates quickly and efficiently. She is amazing. I can't imagine a more perfect setting, house, or host. Count yourself lucky if you get to stay here.

Beautiful view from immaculate villa

This was a perfect place to stay. Prompt courteous communication from host Katerina who was at the property to meet us. The villa is just outside Vivera with spectacular views over the bay. The house is clean and bright with simple furniture. The beds are super comfortable with nice linens which were changed weekly. Full size shampoo and shower gel in the showers was a lovely thoughtful touch. The villa comes complete with necessities so you don't have to rush out and shop the first day - milk, coffee, tea, bread, jam. There's a coffee maker, toaster and full sized oven and plenty of pans and crockery which makes self catering easy. We used the washing machine and there's a clothes line outside or a drying rack for inside. Lots of storage in the bedrooms too. Air conditioning units in the rooms was also much appreciated. The villa is one of three set on a hillside and there is ample space to park right outside. It's a quiet area but there are restaurants in nearby Vivari, Drepano and Nafplio. It's a great base to explore historic sites at Nafplio, Mycenae, Tirinth, and Argos. There's a beach in town and nice walks in the area. Great for climbing and kayaking if you bring your own equipment. Bikes and scooters available for rent at Nafplio. In Nafplio don't bother with the bus tour unless you need a ride to the castle or you are interested in shopping. Instead head for the pedestrianized Old Town which is full of interesting shops, bars and restaurants and is quite charming. If you are travelling from Athens take the motorway and come off via Mycenae rather than taking the coast road which takes substantially longer and isn't more attractive.

Excellent place – excellent stay

We (a family of 5) really enjoyed our stay at the villa. The house is very spacious, furnished and decorated on a high level (even with the details) and with much style. It has a very personal touch which we liked a lot. The views from the villa on the sea and into the bay are breathtaking. The same holds true for the infinity pool. It really feels like swimming in the sea (with a nice view on unique little chapel that is by the way worth a visit). The owners were very helpful (even with printing out our boarding passes) and provided us with a lot of good recommendations on places to go, shops and restaurants in the area. Close-by destinations like Mykene, Naflio and Epidavros are well in reach (max. half an hour, Naflio even only 15 min.). The ride from Athens was also easy. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, charming and quite place for rest and vacation. Jolita and Malte

Amazing place with a truly fantastic view.

The unit itself was well appointed and stylish and the beds were extremely comfortable with nice linen. Just the view is worth the trip. Watching the sunset from the pool was a wonderful experience. Katerina & Dimitris were from the beginning of our communication so helpful and kind, they also informing us for the local area and made suggestions on where to go. We also want to point out that the place is better than the description posted. Highly recommendable.

Wunderschönes Haus in toller Lage

Das Haus von Katerina und Dimitris liegt einfach fantastisch in einer ruhigen und wunderschönen Bucht. Man hat von jedem Zimmer aus Meerblick, ebenso wie vom Pool aus. Das Haus und der Pool sind super gepflegt und alles ist sehr sauber. Die Fotos entsprechen genau der Realität. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und haben das Haus sehr liebe- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge, z.B. nach Nafplio, Korinth, Epidaurus und Mykene. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und werden sehr gerne einmal wiederkommen. Vielen Dank, Katerina und Dimitris!

Elysium!

We have enjoyed the last autumn sunshine in this beautiful place. If you spend a few relaxing days here, you'll understand the meaning of the greek word "Elysium"! If you are looking for party & fun, go somewhere else, this is a place for relaxing all day at the pool, reading a good book, enjoy the magnificent view over the bay, and have a bucolic Greek dinner in the evening. We went there in early November, so already quiet season, but there was a basic but very nice fish tavern still open (Borelli, 1km down the road, lovely folks!) where we enjoyed fresh fish from the grill and a good bottle of wine (ask the junior boss, he has some nice recommendations) several times. Or you can make your own BBQ on the terrace, charcoals and everything is there. We bought the meat for the BBQ at ΚΡΕΟΜΑΡΚΕΤ ΝΑΥΠΛΙΟΥ in Nafplio, a really good butcher. And don't forget to stop in Drepano at Maria's little grocery shop and ask for the house wine of her family! She sells it simply in plastic bottles – but it's perfectly quaffable!

Séjour exceptionnel !

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable dans cette villa en Grèce. Katerina et Dimitri sont des hôtes remarquables. À notre arrivée, Katerina nous a chaleureusement accueillis et nous a fourni toutes les informations nécessaires pour profiter pleinement de la villa. Elle avait préparé un guide très utile avec des adresses de magasins, de restaurants, et des suggestions de visites. La villa était impeccablement propre. Katerina avait pensé à tout pour notre confort, y compris un plateau de courtoisie avec café et thé, ainsi que tout le nécessaire pour notre premier petit déjeuner, comme du pain, du beurre et de la confiture. Nous avons également trouvé des bouteilles d'eau et une bouteille de rosé local dans le réfrigérateur. Des produits de douche étaient également à notre disposition. En résumé, nous avons vécu un séjour exceptionnel, avec des hôtes extraordinaires. Un grand merci à eux !

Besser geht es nicht: der perfekte Urlaub!

Das Haus ist der Hammer! Wir haben uns super wohlgefühlt, weil wirklich alles stimmte. Die Fotos lügen nicht, das Haus ist absolut MEGA! Für jede Tageszeit gibt es ein schattiges Plätzchen – oder den super Pool mit Blick aufs Meer. Alles ist großzügig ausgestattet. Die Vermieter sind sehr, sehr nett und hilfsbereit und einfach super: Sie kümmern sich um das Haus, aber Ihr habt absolute Privatsphäre. Kurzfassung: Das beste Haus, die allerbesten Vermieter – einfach alles rundum klasse!
