We spent 11 magical days at the Idunu Villa with our family of 5 (3 teenagers). The house itself had every amenity we could have wanted (incredibly powerful AC in every room which was so welcome) and the outdoor space and pool area were the true stars of our stay— we spent almost all of our time outside by the amazing pool, gazing out upon olive groves and the beautiful Cretan mountains. The house has all the seclusion and privacy one could want, yet it is minutes from the adorable seaside village of Panormo and within short driving distance to many beaches. But what made this trip truly special was our host, Babis, who went above and beyond at every turn. After a long journey, he welcomed us with homemade Cretan specialties- a thoughtful touch we’ve never experienced with any other Vrbo host. He was also incredibly well-versed on the area, offering wonderful recommendations for everything from things to do to where to eat. He checked in with us every few days throughout our stay without ever being intrusive, and the cleaning staff kept the house immaculate and comfortable from start to finish.We would return in a heartbeat and would give ten stars if we could. An absolutely perfect place — highly, highly recommend!!!
