Old Rooms and Lots of Weed

Hotel is pretty old. Doors are wooden and look like they are straight from the 1970s. Rooms are also pretty dated though everything but the bathroom was clean…bathroom was pretty filthy. Beds were firm but good. Front desk check in was difficult. The pool was pretty nice. The worst part was the people smoking weed were all over the parking lot, in an outside stairwell, in their cars, and at the ends of the building. The smell of marijuana was over powering and made me feel bad about bringing my son there. There are better options in Grand Haven. I suggest paying a little more and finding them.

Hotel and people were very nice. Included breakfast was great. Only suggestion is to use less chlorine/chemicals in the pool. We couldn’t swim or use hot tub without breathing issues.

A happy customer

I was there for work. The hotel was very clean. They left plenty of linen in the room. The staff were very professional & polite. The breakfast was excellent & I loved that they had coffee available 24 hours. The hotel is also close to many fast food places, if that’s what you like & Meijer is right down the street. Thank you for a comfortable stay!

If they offer you room 222, don’t plan on getting any sleep. It’s located above an equipment or boiler room that is loud as an airplane. Off and on all night. Staff knows / knew about this room’s issue.

It was cool….. well, maybe COLD.

The stay was nice. The room was adequate although a bit small for wheelchair accessible. The bed was very comfortable. Other than the tightness of the room, the only other issue we found was that the room temperature, when we entered was less than 65°F. We actually left for several hours hoping that when we returned it would be warm. No luck there. We got extra blankets from the staff for the night. It was warm enough for habitation by the time we woke the next morning.

Enjoyed our stay. Host was able to give us adjoining rooms near the pool. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety. Breakfast host was pleasant and took pride in her job. Pool was was surprisingly warm. Hot Tub jets worked great. Temperature was warm but never got hot. Bubbles appeared soapy?? Overtime they developed a dirty appearance. Beds very comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. Room overall was great! Price point fit our budget for a one night stay while visiting relatives.

Couldnt stay this time due to car issues. I know it would have been good, as i have enjoyed staying here before. So this is basrd in past stays, this place is a very nice stay. Highly recommended
