Some homes give you a view. Colina gives you the whole hillside. Set high above Murrieta with sweeping mountain and vineyard scenery, this Mediterranean-style retreat is built for groups who want space to gather, play, and stretch the day from poolside mornings to firepit sunsets without losing the privacy of a true Southern California escape.
Inside, the home keeps the group connected with large, sunlit spaces, hardwood floors, soft furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling windows that pull the mountain views into nearly every room. The main living area centers around a 100-inch home theater-style TV with an in-wall sound system, while the kitchen and dining areas make group meals easy with generous seating, warm cabinetry, and plenty of room to move between cooking, snacking, and settling in. The game and theater spaces bring the energy with a pool table, projector screen, air hockey, shuffleboard, arcade-style fun, and room for everyone to hang out when the night moves inside. A Tesla charger adds extra convenience for guests driving in for wine country weekends, family trips, or longer Southern California stays.
Six bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms give the group plenty of room to spread out without losing the home’s easy flow. Every bedroom has mountain views, so mornings start with the scenery before the day even gets moving.
Outside is where Colina really earns its name. Start the day by the pool, slip into the hot tub, or putt around on the green while the hills stretch out below. The pool area is set up for more than just swimming, with a Sonance Garden Series outdoor music system and nine speakers that connect by Bluetooth, so the whole space can shift from quiet lounge mode to afternoon gathering without missing a beat. By sunset, the alfresco dining table, hammocks, firepit, outdoor ping pong, and wide lawn give the group every reason to stay outside a little longer.
Colina sits in a scenic Murrieta hillside setting where the views are the main event — rolling mountains, vineyard scenery, and wide-open skies all around — while the best of the region stays within easy reach. Point the day toward Temecula Wine Country for tastings and long lunches, head into town for restaurants and everyday essentials, or keep things simple with a pool day, game night, and dinner outside. Whether the plan is wine tasting, celebrating, or just letting the whole group disappear into the hills for a few days, Colina makes the getaway feel easy from the first sunset to the last.

There’s a lot to see in this town and even more to drink. Our suggestion? A tour at one of the local wineries so you and your group can sample a diverse range of local flavors. For something less intoxicating but equally fun, visitors can berry-pick at local farms and taste the fruits of their labor. Hot air-ballooning is a stunning way to see the rolling hills of Southern California wine country from every angle and is one of Temecula’s most sought-after attractions.
