Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very good experience. We debated for a long time about even going on vacation due to Covid 19 but decided we would. The condo was very nice. The closeness to the beach was fantastic. Everywhere we went people were wearing masks and socially distancing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be staying again.

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay very much and being with our children, celebrating their anniversary and anticipating the birth of our first grandchild in February. The condo is in need of some repairs and updates. The carpet should be replaced, the vanity in the bathroom needs replaced with a higher one. Really need more cookware and dishes in the kitchen. The clothes dryer needs repaired ...took forever to dry towels. The view is amazing, the balcony is very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the condo.

Booking was easy; staff, including Jackie and maintenance man Scott very helpful ad professional. Condo itself was pretty shabby - furniture, carpet, linens. Cleanliness adequate, I guess, but not confidence-inspiring. I would recommend Surfmaster but not condo 205.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was spacious but to many remotes for living room TV and there needs to be instructions for which one works what. TV in master bedroom worked have the time because batteries are going out in remote and the TV needs to be on the wall can see it when lying in bed if you don't use all the pillows to prop yourself up. The room just needs some TLC/up graded.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is on the second floor and has good views of the beach. The Unit is in need of multiple updates. Master bedroom furniture is outdated and in terrible condition (splintered tops). Lots of damaged/chipped plates & cups in the kitchen. Carpet in main room was dirty/worn and in need of replacing. A relative stayed in the same unit one year ago and stated that nothing had changed since that time! The cleaning crew did a good job. Beware, you are directly above the hot tub, which can get very loud, with some "salty" language/behavior ( not unit owners fault of course). We have stayed in other units in Surfmaster, which were in much better overall condition.

Surfmaster 205 needs updating

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit has a fabulous view and location is great. However the unit is in need of serious cleaning, carpets, refrigerator, floors etc. (plugged in phone charger in bedroom and the carpet behind the nightstands were filthy)! Unit needs updating, bedroom furniture surfaces are terribly warped and no finish, cabinets need refinishing or replacing, bathtubs were extremely slow draining (standing water while showering), water from tubs had black materials floating. The kitchen was poorly equipped for cooking and plates, glasses and cups were old and missing. Front bedroom was extremely dark (poor lighting. Living room television was hard to operate, had to use two remotes to change channels and volume.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visit the Garden City beach area at least twice a year and it’s always a great time. This trip was no different. The room was very nice, the only small complaint we had is the shower head is very low pressure, and the Wi-Fi was broke in our unit. I made two calls to maintenance but it never got fixed. They did give us the login access to a neighboring unit so we could use their Wi-Fi. Beyond that, our stay was great!

A week at the beach

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the time spent at the beach was great, and the realty company is very responsive to any issues; however, the condition of the property leaves a lot to be desired. Notably, the queen bed is worn out and sags in the middle. In addition, the online pictures do not represent the actual condition of the bedroom furniture (nightstands and dresser) or the bar stools. All have a lot of wear. I would not return to this unit.
