Gorgeous View/Beautiful Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was ready early and was neat and clean. We loved the bathroom and new mattress in the king bedroom. Kitchen cabinets were neat and well organized. There was new cookware which was great because we normally bring a skillet from home but forgot this time. We had to report three maintenance issues: dishwasher door would not close (you have to lift up as you are closing door), toilet in queen bedroom bath needed new flapper and fill valve, toilet in king bedroom bath needed new fill valve. Maintenance fixed these issues quickly and efficiently. The view from this condo is wonderful. Would love to stay here next spring.

Television performance and Wi-Fi badly needs upgrading....haven't seen a router that old in a long time.....other than that, everything was great.Had to cut our stay in half due to Covid-19

Absolutely amazing views. Balcony furniture was super high quality and comfy. Pool and hot tubs were clean and well maintained. Parking is tight but I managed. I can’t say enough good things. My kids LOVED this condo.

Reviewer Comments: Would have appreciated the unit more if: 1)the kitchen faucet was properly fastened to the kitchen counter top 2) the smoke detectors were not chirping when we arrived. 3)the windows had been cleaned..sticky finger prints inside, and dirty outside where housekeeping could easily reach. 4) Huge amount of dust on the louvered doors to the AC as well as on ceiling fans 5) AC sounded like jet engine. 6) a security lock would be nice on front door, we used a chair.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this unit for a family vacation to celebrate my mothers 85th birthday. We picked Garden City because the beach is easier to navigate for her than others. We have used Garden City Realty many times and they are always professional and great to work with. This is by far our favorite unit we have ever stayed in. The location is great. The unit was well designed and beautifully decorated. The location and view were spectacular. She was able to sit on the wraparound porch and feel like she was on the beach even on the days that she didn't feel like making it down onto the beach with us. The building has great security and is easily accessible for handicap. I would give this 5 stars if the kitchen was better organized and had better cookware. We like to be able to stay on the beach late and then come in and cook together and then relax and play games. The cookware was terrible and needs to be updated so we did very little cooking. On a positive note, one of our favorite restaurants The Conch Cafe is within walking distance (in the adjacent parking lot). One other disappointing thing was the mattresses. They need to be replaced. However, We would definately stay here again and had a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful Unit with Stunning Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One Ocean Place 1110 is a beautiful property. It is an end unit with wonderful views. It has been nicely renovated; however, it could use some updated living room furniture as the cushions and pillows are very worn and the mattresses and pillows are due for replacement (which we have found to be typical in almost any unit we have rented). The patio furniture on the balcony differs from from the pictures shown. It has been upgraded to some very nice Trex/composite material furniture. Overall, we were very happy with the unit itself and the location can't be beat. There were some things about the One Ocean Place property in general that I wish I had known, and I feel might be helpful to know for people choosing to stay at any units on this property. There is plenty of parking, but if you have a very large vehicle, consider another property. Although a minor issue, accessing the elevators from the 1st and 2nd floor parking areas with any carts or luggage is a challenge due to very tight spaces to maneuver through. Finally, the beach access for this property is not ideal. The access is through the parking garage and you either have to go down to the the ground level and walk up a parking garage ramp or get off on the 1st floor and walk down a parking garage ramp. If you have anyone with mobility issues (like an elderly parent) or even dealing with getting kids to the beach, traveling up or down parking ramps with possible car traffic is not ideal. There is also no handicap accessible route to the beach from the property. The beach access issue for us will prevent any future stays at any One Ocean Place units, but that's not any reflection on this particular unit.

Amazing Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Positives: the sweeping view of the Atlantic. The unit was very clean, quiet & conveniently located. Outdoor furniture was of good quality. Garden City Realty & their maintenance team were very efficient and responsive for anything that needed attention. Negatives: having read previous reviews before renting this unit. I noted that several people had made negative comments about the mattresses. Since that has been years earlier, I figured by the time we came in 2024 the mattresses would’ve been replaced. Not so! The mattresses in this unit are horrific! If you value a good night’s sleep you may want to rethink this unit. If you enjoy “cooking in” you need to know the kitchen is nice but the kitchen supplies leave a lot to be desired. My husband & I were renting unit for 3 weeks & wanted to cook in and sleep well. If the mattresses were replaced & if the kitchen had decent supplies I would stay again - otherwise not.

Check-in was no contact and super easy and so convenient. The only thing that that needs updated are the older dirty bedroom carpets. I did wipe a spill up off the tile kitchen floor and the paper towel was black. It did smell really clean when we walked in. Overall great property and plan to stay here again!!!!

We have been coming for over 40 years and it was a great vacation. We wish they would update the mattress and pillows. The condo could have been cleaned better, the sofa cushions were very stained. Pictures are deceiving

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: View, beach and the amount of space was great, but don't be deceived by the pics and that it is recently "remodeled" The place is filthy. White carpets are brown. Furniture is dirty and cushions shot and uncomfortable. Beds are like the ground, I had to buy a cushion top to make it through the week. The kitchen has several broken drawers and utensils and cookware are rusted and gross. Sink faucet is caked with old food and loose, needs to be replaced. No supply of TP, paper towels, trash bags - BYO. NO HAIRDRYER - had to go buy my own. Light in master bath is out - so enjoy a dark shower. Cabinets in bathrooms and kitchen were filthy - had to wipe down. It's too bad, when you bring in over $3000 a week you can't keep this place in better shape.

Loved the view

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was spectacular and there was tons of space in the condo. I was disappointed because the jets in the garden tub were not working and maintenance was called but they said they had to check with the owners. A previous review from September mentioned that the jets were not working so it is obvious they will not be fixed. The picture on the web site showed the jacuzzi tub so it should have worked or the picture should be removed. It is false advertising. I also felt inside of the condo needed a good cleaning. The location of the condo was perfect and the staff at One Ocean place was very friendly and helpful. I would definately stay at that property again but hope the issue brought to the attention of Garden Realty will be rectified.
