Overall, it was a decent stay. Rooms were large and clean, updated however worn. You can tell the building was built for something else or that's the vibe it gave off. The front desk was very efficient and the breakfast was good. I guess i wasn't thrilled about the area. Slightly sketchy (the neighborhood not the hotel). It was a short walk to both the old town and public transportation, which was great. If you stay there, I would ask for a room that faces the courtyard not the main street as I was awoken many many times due to all the noise on the street. Not particularly just vehicle noise, but people yelling and screaming. Again the hotel was fine not crazy about immediate neighborhood noise.

Arrived late into Munich by train and the welcome was warm and friendly. A great place to stay that’s convenient for the main station and the city centre. Recommend the buffet breakfast too which was good value.

So the area around the hotel isn't great but safe enough for most people. I wouldn't suggest a single woman stay here if she wants to venture out in the evening but during the day it was fine. The hotel itself was good - not luxury but clean and a good stay. We slept well and had no issues with the room which was really large.
