This is our third multi night stay at Hotel Splendid-Dollmann, and we've enjoyed it even more each time. This boutique Hotel is well maintained, clean, and artistically attractive. Every member of the staff was very polite, efficient, and helpful. The continental breakfast was wonderful, with so many good choices to keep us full and happy until late afternoon. It's very well located to walk downtown in an area of culture, retail, and Munich's wonderful food. Within a 5 minute walk are several restaurants to eat and drink local food and food from around the world. A 20 minute walk to Viktualienmarkt introduces you to a 5 acre fresh market, open daily, selling fresh meats, vegetables, fruit, cheeses, wines, bread, chocolates. It's a great Hotel, with great staff, a great location, and a reasonable price for our last 4 nights in Europe.

The overall experience was great. The staff was super professional, caring and just amazing people who try to go above and beyond for their customers! The breakfast buffet was the highlight of the stay especially the supervising person Maria ! She was offering us some specialties describing how they were prepared or cooked. She also tried to give some suggestions about cultural life and points of interest. The upsetting part of the stay was horrible garage with super inconvenient entrance, exit, and lack of space and modern features ! Also no safe in the room seemed very obsolete for us

It's a good hotel and welcoming. You get a bottle of water and a book in the room, or at least I did. No access to hot water or anything like that, so if you need a coffee or tea expect to go out. Room had strong smell of paint but was otherwise clean and great for staying.

Oh my word, where to start. First of all, I’m coming back here! These good people at this gorgeous place are just so wonderful. Helpful, friendly, kind and professional and above all so welcoming. They actually made my stay in Munich perfect when I’d been feeling a bit lost and down. Suddenly I discover this gorgeous hotel and I couldn’t believe how beautiful and magical the hotel is - it just rests your soul. It is safe, in an ideal location, so stylish, impeccably clean and just highly geared to a weary traveller. The balcony, the church bells, the sunset, the garden for coffee, the library…and how can I forget the petite book gift - such a wonderful thoughtful thing, this hotel is so cultured, stylish and gentle.
