Fantastic hotel in the heart of everywhere we wanted to be. The hotel is beautifully renovated. Staff were so kind and welcoming. Our family group of 8 reserved 3 rooms, one teenager in each room. The hotel was staff was very responsive making up the sofa for the teens. The air conditioning was a welcome relief during a stretch of incredibly hot weather. The rooms were exceptionally clean, very nice amenities and the free mini-bar was a nice addition. Would definitely stay here again.

The entire team was extremely friendly - from dropping off my bags, showing me to my room and explaining all the details. Room size and set up was perfect for me being on my own! The added touch of a refilled mini bar each night was very much appreciated. The location is perfect, close to the market and transit yet just far enough away that it isn’t noisy or crowded. A functioning air conditioner was WONDERFUL after three weeks in this heat wave. Thank you Hotel Deutsche Eiche for making this solo traveler feel comfortable and safe!

We were pleased to find that the bathroom floors were heated, the bathroom sink lit up beautifully with green lights and that there were louvers over the window, that with the click of a button would roll down and close up providing the darkness we needed for sleep.    The location was close to transportation, which was a plus. The staff was not the friendliest, but they were informative when needed.

We booked this hotel because it said it has onsite parking ....it has three spaces. if you don't get one then you have to park 6 blocks away at a parking garage that doesn't open til 8am. tThey also failed to tell us this so we almost missed our flight because we couldn't get our rental car out of the garage.. my Daughter had to pay $70 for a taxi to make her flights on time. The hotel refused to pay us for this because they said it's written on a paper they gave us. we speak English not German!! Hotel is nice but customer service is very lacking. I would find other accommodations

The rooms are nice and spacious. They have a free mini bar which includes beers and soft drinks. The Rooftop Bar is always busy any good place to meet people. The staff is very helpful. The location is excellent. It's very close to transportation and stores.

The hotel was in a great location. However, the rooms didn’t have coffee pots or tea makers and were very dated. Do not stay on the fifth floor as you will be hearing the terrace chairs scraping on your head all day. At least they shut it down at 10 PM. Given the traffic up to the terrace., be prepared to walk the stairs or wait in a long queue. The air conditioning did not work so we had to sleep with the window open and deal with the bugs. We called the office they sent someone up and did not make any difference. In conclusion you have to trade the good location for a mediocre at best hotel. how they ever got 9+on hotels.com is beyond me.
