Welcome to The Flowers House, a remarkable slice of history located in the vibrant community of Mount Dora! Originally constructed in 1910, this house has seen only a few owners over its century-long existence, imparting a rich heritage to your stay. It was lovingly maintained by the William Capps family for sixty years. Pam and Andrew Flowers, restored its charm while preserving its unique character.

The Flowers House is equipped with modern amenities while maintaining its historical charm. You’ll find five spacious bedrooms, four of which have their own bathrooms, making it perfect for family gatherings or group getaways. The shared front and back porches, combined with a cozy backyard featuring a fire pit, provide ample space for relaxation. Inside, enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area, a breakfast nook, a laundry room, and a generous living room.

Great house and location for ‘Light Up Mt. Dora’ festivities. Just a couple of blocks from the main town area, so no driving necessary once parked at the house. Wonderful screened in front porch and a lovely fire pit area in the backyard. We will return to the beautiful Flowers House.

This was our second opportunity to enjoy The Flowers House and we thoroughly enjoyed both stays! Perfect location for restaurants and shops. There were three women and three girls with plenty of space for all including the hair and makeup drama that goes with a crowd like that! Celebrating 325 years of life. ( 5 birthdays)

Amazing VRBO! This was our second stay at the Flowers House and certainly not our last. The common areas are pleasingly and comfortably furnished (and equipped) with everything that we needed to relax and celebrate. Tastefully decorated large bedrooms and bathrooms with all the necessities. The only problem was deciding where to gather.... The front porch, the seats around the fire pit, the large dining room table, or the comfy sofas!!! During our 3 days we had ONE lunch in town because we enjoyed preparing and enjoying all of our meals in the comfort of this home. Enjoyed Mt Dora shops, walking, and kayaking!

T he Flowers home offered every amenity we desired for celebrating my husband's 80th birthday. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort at every level. I would highly recommend this property to any and all. Each room came with a refrigerator filled with cold waters, coffee & tea service in each room, in addition to a fully stocked kitchen. These people know how to go the extra mile. We will be returning within the year!

The Flowers House Review

We stayed at this beautiful historic remodeled home as a friend reunion. Six of us upon arrival coming from different parts of the state walked into the house at various times. Each one us were overwhelmed with the magnificence, cleanliness, decor, amenities, and detail. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. Coffee pot in every bedroom. We meet every year at a different location and this home and all provided was the best we have ever had. We highly recommend this VRBO home. The town is within walking distance and it is a quaint town full of boutiques, unique shops, and good restaurants.

Great historical property
