The room was lovely and cozy warm when we arrived. The service team followed through with our request for one room on the ground level to accommodate my mother who has difficulty walking up stairs AND placed a roll away bed in the second room. It’s an old building. They have it working and looking good. Food was excellent. Bar also. The older rooms are a little tight. We would definitely go back. Staff was very accommodating and helpful.

lovely historic hotel with great staff. It would have been ideal, had we not been there on a hot day in July. We understand that air conditioning is unlikely in an older hotel. But why the curtains in our west-facing room were left open to superheat it, and the fur coverlet and heavy duvet left on remain mysterious. opening the windows and turning on the fans took many hours to make the space tolerable.

Lovely hotel in the middle of town. Public parking across the street. The rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are modern. The breakfast was delicious and ample to start your day. We booked dinner reservations and it was one of our best meals in England.

Morton Weekend Stay

Very much enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds. We were upgraded to the King Charles Suite and loved it. Two rooms, comfortable bed, and a great bathroom. The breakfast was wonderful, and we enjoyed the Pub, both inside and on the patios. Moreton is a great little Village, and this is a great hotel.
