The hotel and room were clean and attractive. The location of the elevator is ridiculous. My room was essential one floor above the reception area, but I had to go through two long hallways of guest rooms to reach the elevator, then two more to reach my room. Although I didn't use any ice, the in-room refrigerator loudly produced ice a few times during the night, waking me.

the systems were down could not check in til exactly 3pm. I have a bad leg and pinched nerve they made no enough effort to get me in early so I could lay down. they kept using the excuse they didn't know if room had been cleaned. I even offered to leave my phone so I could get into my room early and since it was so uncomfortable for me to sit for so long. but that wasn't an option either... we won't know if the room has been cleaned til 3. then when I finally got my room. I found to go containers in dresser drawers. and my room was right next to elevator so every time the elevator when up or down it sound like jet plane taking off and walls were shaking. breakfast area was very cluttered and no order to it. I understand staff was stressed with system down. but won't say there again or recommend.

Our staff did as much as they could with the limitations that we had that week with not having our computer systems. We had a large number of check outs and new reservations coming in that day, so it did take time to get all of the rooms cleaned and ready for your arrival. We did have rooms ready at our scheduled check in time of 3PM that day. I am sorry that we were unable to make an exception for you.Thank you again for sharing your experiences. Maybe the best hotel to take in the Glass museum. The hotel lobby is a short walk to the visitors center and the museum itself. An extended stay hotel (no floor ice machines) the rooms are nicely appointed with furniture which maximized storage space. Many of the pieces hang from the wall to give even more storage. Breakfast is generous w/ scrambled eggs and breakfast meat. The building does not have an elevator off of the lobby so the lobby is a bit of a hike.
