I was a bit confusing to find it as they do not have a sign on the road before the market or if they have, it was not so obvious to me. I asked around. The rest were fine.

Consistent good service

My 4th time at this hotel and the service continues to be impeccable. There were a few small problems with the room but overall the location and price cannot be beat. I will definitely stay again. Nice breakfast and Wifi too if you need to stay connected.

Hard to find, nice room, good location

I had a heck of time locating the hotel since there are no markings at street level to indicate where the hotel is actually located. I walked across the street to the park and then saw the big sign on the side of the hotel about five floors up! The owners might want to consider better signage at street level for their guests. The hotel was small but the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet in the morning was nice with eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, and pastries. The hotel was only about five blocks between two hop-on-hop-off stops (Stops 1 and 2). The room had a small refrigerator and the Wifi worked great.

Excellent hotel, highly recommended

Despite its humble hidden entrance, once inside this hotel is excellent. Great location overlooking the park and a rooftop terrace over the city. Rooms were modern and clean, staff were super friendly and breakfast was really good.

Great place in the center of Montevideo

In terms of security ~ would stay there again...more than anywhere else! Prime location, high visibility, accessibility by persons not with the hotel prohibited and monitored. GREAT location in the heart of Montevideo. If you wish to see Montevideo, you want to stay here. The *only* download or poor grade were for the elevators. Out of 20 days at the Presidente, there were 5 days the elevators did *not* work - had to walk to 9th floor!!! Yes, 9th. This is truly a terrible thing for persons who cannot traverse many floors of stairs! The wifi could use a booster for inconsistency of connection. The meals were excellent and the staff are *very* accommodating (especially with language difference), courteous, and professional. Overall ~ great place...needs to get those elevators working consistently!

Great hotel right in downtown Montevideo.

The hotel front door is difficult to find the first time as it is inside a city mini-mall, but other than that it is comfortable, pleasnt and warm (it's Winter in the Southern Hemisphere) and so was the room from which there is a great view of the park across the street. The staff is professional, polite and make you feel welcome. The breakfast offer is varied and abundant. My only problem during my stay were the two attendants, a man and a woman, in charge of the breakfast room, They were beyond snotty to the point of being rude.
