Mistake with date/reservation

Somehow the date on my reservation changed when I clicked the back button to check something out about the room. Therefore the reservation was for a day earlier than I was making it for and we weren’t aware of this until 9pm when the inn contacted us to ask why we hadn’t checked in. We called thein. And hotels.com for help but no one was able to move the reservation to the next night (when we were planning to go stay) even though there are empty rooms. It’s extremely disappointing and we will never use hotels.com again.

The property is beautiful and the ocean view is incredible. It’s a short drive to Carmel (walkable really) and Cannery Row in Monterey. Only issue I was finding the doors unlocked in my room many hours after housekeeping was done.

The beautiful decorative windows, doors, furnishings and period architectural touches throughout add to the unique charm of this property. And the views are unmatched to any other location that I have stayed. We booked the Breakers room and had a 180 degree view of the ocean. Opened the windows and enjoyed the sea air and sounds of crashing waves at night from the comfort of my room. Amazing! Will definitely return.

All i can say our stay at this place exceeded our expectations. Wonderful and friendly staff at front desk and at breakfast. We were greeted at front desk by amazing person name Janette and was offered champagne at check in also location right across the lover point beach and walking distance to restaurants. It’s a beautiful B&B looking out over Monterey Bay. We had the Ocean Mist room and had a wonderful view of the November full moon. Gorgeous!! Breakfast was also very good!
